We're so passive when we setup this way and the crowd goes to sleep too.

Don't have an issue with the tactic but just something about the way the team implements it that is off.

Remember how this side used to feed off the energy of the crowd? Feels like a long time ago now.

We in a phase (again) when there is not enough joy in watching us play.

We have no press. Teams can just play through whatever attempt we make.

If a team chooses to take possession they can pass for days and we don’t get close to making a tackle.

I think we’ll win today but i I miss the days when we had a proper press and could put a team under some pressure. Now we’re just waiting for a break and every pass being perfect.

Nothing annoys me more than when a throw in is taken miles away from where the ball went out of play.

Aye. Throw miles away from where it went out, huge slice of luck with the finish, pretty incisive play from their pov. It doesn't always have to be a disgrace.

A bit meh in terms of general play from both sides. Penno was a freebie off a rash challenge, but we were also a bit unlucky with their goal and them scoring with their only shot.

We've created better chances and would have gone two up had Barnes played in Isak a second earlier.

Barnes has played well today, which is a big plus if he can carry it into the last part of the season.

Agreed. Some intelligent runs and most the while. His passing and link up play has been an upgrade on Murphy. Unlucky not to get a couple of assists and all.

Wait, what? People are blaming Schar for that?! What is Burn doing going shit or bust trying to win the ball on the touchline 45 yards from his own goal?

He followed their CF there like he always does. Got done by a lucky bounce though. Schär in a tough spot but he has to step up and pray for offside or start running back a lot earlier.

Feels like this season other teams just play us at our own game and go press for press. Turns it into a messy ping pong game and we quite often end up second best.

Really poor from Gordon for the goal.

It’s poor not tracking the run fully, but think once that ball is being played, he’s not making up the yards and at best he’s making a challenge from the wrong side.

Real issues was just burn being out there and leaving the space which then makes the pass easy.
