Hope they get invited back one last time for a SJP celebration. Thought I was done crying then see Mandy and Mehrdad pop up at the end hugging dec!

Was waiting to see footage of that.

Btw, fuck you Mike Ashley.

The most frustrating part is that our quick recovery and now first trophy shows we'd have been one of the biggest teams in the league had Ashley never darkened our door.

Have felt like I'm in a dreamlike state ever since the final whistle, like many I feel like I'm still processing everything, it's all very surreal. Half expecting to wake up tomorrow and find out this was only a dream [emoji38] What a beautiful day, love you all:indi:

Forest. Chelsea. Arsenal twice. Liverpool.

We haven’t had it easy. Could argue that it’s one of the most impressive cup wins of any club.

And our fixtures last season were Man City (h), Man Utd (a) and Chelsea (a)

Am lucky enough to have been there today. The emotion when the ball hit the back of the net and then at full time was indescribable.

Funny change from 2023, in the pubs after that there were songs and chants, and deep conversations on tactics and moments - today afterwards was much quieter - just people beaming. Defeat has a million causes to discuss, whereas winning, we won, so much less to say

The only cloud is I bloody wish they’d beaten Brighton in the fa cup even more now.

Everyone else is so elated and I feel like I'm emotionally abnormal in so much as I've yet to wet my pants or cry with joy about the one thing we've most yearned for all these long, long years. But instead I feel somewhat mute inside. Feels a bit like taking drugs for the first time with your mates, and waiting for the hit but nothing or very little actually happens. Losing my virginity was much the same - massive anticlimax when I was expecting it to be earth shattering, but it was little more than a wet wank inside an old skank. Maybe I'm dead and I'm actually experiencing all this from the after life?

There's a lot to unpack there. Let the emotion hit you whatever way. Not everyone cries or whatever. But maybe it hasn't sunk in yet that it's real. Or maybe because the nature of those excruciating injury time minutes may have altered the pure joy. But whatever way it doesn't change that your team has finally done it :)

Brilliant atmosphere in the stadium. Crowd was in full voice from about 3pm on the concourse in the top bowl. Continued throughout the game. We made it like a home game and the players knew it.

Kept thinking about that awful commentary few weeks back when we played them in the league and they were taking turns tugging off Salah, "he just plays the game with a smile on his face"

Didn't see any smiles from him today did we. [emoji38]
