It says in the instructions it's only from 1pm for ST holders so it won't be live yet.

I don't think this is a ballot is it? It just seems like it's gauging interest for capacity/security etc?

Yeah but why have different windows then if it's just registration?  Unless it's just traffic management to the website.

Supporters will get the chance to see Eddie Howe and the first team players with the cup for the first time since last Sunday's famous win at Wembley. Newcastle United is working with its city partners to deliver a safe and enjoyable event. The club extends its thanks to the Freemen of Newcastle, Newcastle City Council, the North East Combined Authority, NE1, Nexus and the emergency services.

TOWN MOOR EVENT

Set around a large main stage on the Town Moor, adjacent to the Great North Road, the open-air event will be free to attend. Supporters are asked to register their interest to assist with planning (details below).

It will feature a DJ, live band, 'Road to Wembley' highlights, a screening of the full cup final and special guests.

The team will then proudly lift the Carabao Cup on stage - presenting the club's first domestic trophy for 70 years to the city.

The celebrations will close with a spectacular show from club partner Sela and further event details will be published ahead of the show.

Not sure why they can't have an open bus parade through the city like instead of having a ballot to stand in a field in March.

Because this way all the food and drink that they sell is their own income.

Realistically I'm not sure how they can do anything about the amount of people who will be going along regardless. You would hope they're going to use enough of the town moor that it'll negate it all anyway, it's absolutely massive.
