Don't care what happens. We won the cup!

Strange feeling actually - i feel really relaxed about the rest of the season. This must be what other teams that regularly win trophies feel like. Surreal!

I'm not so sure for me at least. I was a nervous wreck whenever the Warriors were in the ploayoffs during their dynasty, even with Kevin Durant.

I seriously can't see Howe letting the players take their eye on the rest of the season.

Can’t see the fans allowing it either. They’ll be moaning at the players from the first misplaced pass

i think thats what Eddie will say when the players get back.

we've won the league cup - now lets really concentrate and try and win every game for the rest of the season and get in the CL.

do the "double".

Under the lights, at home, first match since the cup final after an extra charged Saturday celebrating the trophy - ooof, Eddie will have the boys shot out of a fucking cannon. Can’t wait.

I think the match going fans will want to say their own thankyou. Atmosphere could be red hot.

Given the players confidence is likely sky high, id expect a rough night for Brentford.

My worry is that they won't take this seriously after winning a cup, then international duties, then cup celebrations.

It's home though and the crowd will be roaring so I'm really hoping that'll carry them.

They can't be getting cocky and need to go into this fully respecting Brentford. Season is far from over.

I really don’t get that line of thinking? Not taking the first home game after making history ‘seriously?!’

I don’t even fully buy into players half-arsing it leading into the cup final. But I imagine even subconsciously it will play a part. This is almost the opposite of that.

If anything, the players should be playing with more freedom after a historic win and getting into Europe. Along with less fear of injury or suspension.

Big Joe and Big Dan Burn need to go steady for another 4 games, mind!
