rebelrouser Posted Monday at 13:39 Share Posted Monday at 13:39 Barnes is on fire. Like our chances at 3.

I feel it's insane given the position we'll be in if we beat Palace, and the fact they are extremely strong in CM/#10. Beating Palace is everything right now. Fenham Mag Posted Monday at 15:01 Share Posted Monday at 15:01 Reckon there's more chance of him getting a yellow card sitting on the bench, he'd be riled up being left out

That's right Big Joe. Get through this game and your licence to kill is reinstated!
Joelinton7 Posted Monday at 15:07 Share Posted Monday at 15:07 I would’t mind bringing little Joe or Miley in for this one. This is a big week with small turnarounds. Don’t think we’ll do it though.
nufcjb Posted Monday at 15:14 Share Posted Monday at 15:14 I'm more nervous for this than yesterday's match. Villa on Saturday would make me shit my pants for sure.
Turnbull2000 Posted Monday at 15:36 Share Posted Monday at 15:36 Not sure what fixture seems more horrid - this or Villa. 4 points from these two would be an excellent return.
Displayname Posted Monday at 15:44 Share Posted Monday at 15:44 They have a tough schedule up until they play the FA semi final, might consider resting someone against us?
Ikon Posted Monday at 15:58 Share Posted Monday at 15:58 Win this and draw at Villa would be great. A win at Villa would obviously be even better but hey.
Mazzy Posted Monday at 16:08 Share Posted Monday at 16:08 Fatigue will get the better of us in one of the next two. What we don't want is to go all out in the Palace game and get nothing from it, only to have zero left in the tank for Villa. If we're properly going for it on Wednesday, full press, high intensity etc, then we really need to win it to set us up for the weekend.

Win what’s in front of you 1 game at a time. The lads will dig deep. They can smell UCL. Gordon back available and hopefully Little Joe too will add some legs when required. Kanj Posted Monday at 16:14 Share Posted Monday at 16:14 Our away record is one of the best in the PL. I fancy us in both matches this week.
The Prophet Posted Monday at 16:40 Share Posted Monday at 16:40 Villa have only lost once at Villa Park this season, but they have drawn quite a few.

Murphy, Trippier, Bruno, Joelinton and Isak have all been subbed off in our last two games. Barnes have fresh legs after not playing much this season and Tonali is a different beast. Wouldn’t see him do that sprint in the 94th minute if he had tired legs like. Tino got 2 weeks rest during the internationals.

You could either look at it as that they only lost one or that they only won half their games, and we aren’t part of the bottom half
STM Posted Monday at 17:41 Share Posted Monday at 17:41 I think we are a much better side when we have games come thick and fast like they are now. I feel like we bounce right through them. Palace are turning up on the back of a hammering, against a side they know are going to be bang up for it. To add to it, they are just about in holiday mode, their focus is entirely on the cup. Skeletor Posted Monday at 19:52 Share Posted Monday at 19:52 Uncomfortable with Eddie not being here for this and Villa. Hopefully we can keep it going and get another win for him.
Hanshithispantz Posted Monday at 20:00 Share Posted Monday at 20:00 Bit annoying we're a day less for both games like, at least 2 points and we're looking good though.
Ketsbaia Posted Monday at 20:18 Share Posted Monday at 20:18 A nasty opponent right now. I'd not get upset at a draw - especially given Chelsea's dropped points - but obviously a win is within reach and they have a cup semi on the horizon. Think they'll score at least once, mind. black_n_white Posted Monday at 21:42 Share Posted Monday at 21:42 I wouldn’t bet against a couple of changes for this one. I’m not sure trippier will play 3 games in 6 days.
Stottie Posted Monday at 23:42 Share Posted Monday at 23:42 We barely got a kick in the away fixture. Isak went off after twenty and we looked lost the whole game. 0.02 xG and needed Guehi to put it in for us. Nearly held on though for what would have been absolute daylight robbery. Recent form and SJP probably mean this one will play out differently though. I certainly hope it does!
