Bruno overhitting every single though ball today has been bloody infuriating.

the whole team have been poor to be fair - we just looked shattered

You absolutely would have a problem if Bruno was benched for one of our biggest games in the run in

You can play the hindisght card but this place would have been up in arms if we'd started Longstaff, Miley, Krafth for this game and lost

The hindsight stuff after defeats like these is incredible

Feels like we showed up for a regular game and Villa came to play their game of the season with revenge on the mind and wanting to get another crack at PSG.

4-4 on aggregate for the season.

It’s hard to really question when they’ve unchanged winning sides since they’ve taken over and it’s worked well for us.

It's easy to question when we make subs late most games, never rotate and end up losing games because we haven't got the energy. Even at HT, we should have made 3 subs.

Well you enjoy seeing us getting beat to revel in the misery so I’ll take it

Why would i enjoy seeing us get beat? i made a statement about playing the same team over and over and the potential for an eventual drop in performance and its happened today.

We looked like a mid table team today

Ah, Bruno… fuck off.

Can't say that.  He's untouchable.  Some on here probably thought he was man of the match.

As soon as the 4th went in should have had Miles on for Bruno, can’t believe they are making him and Joe play another full 96+ minutes when their all clearly fucked, quite shocking game management

We've really missed Eddie today :mou:

Not if I knew he was knackered. Would've been more than happy with that.

Said the same during our CL campaign when we played the same team every week and ended with a bad streak. People argued the same way you do.

Anyway. Rotation, or the lack of, is a weak point for Howe/Tindall. Will be interesting to see if they've learned owt from the CL run.

Well that was a terrible performance, literally not one positive

Should have made subs/ changes earlier, which might not have been enough anyway as Villa were rampant today.

Weird us v Villa tends to be an absolute slapping either way.

It’s strange considering we’re essentially equals for 2.5 years. Our 3-1 win there last season is really the outlier. Otherwise it’s just the home side taking care of business.

A defeat isn't the end of the world, but I just hate how easy we made it. Totally outfought, outplayed and just capitulated to make it a resounding loss. Goal difference taking a hit as well is never nice. Simply must win against Ipswich at home to put his behind us and keep the CL charge going, and I'm sure we will. Shake it all off lads.

Villa are good. Still cunts though and I wish them every misfortune possible.

Today, in isolation, was an absolute disgrace of a performance. We can afford the odd one of them but need to get it back on track next week. I don't understand why we waited to be trailing before we made changes, as the goal was coming for the entirety of the second half.

Bruno and Joelinton had stinkers in there and it was a stark reminder that Trippier and Schar can get absolutely ruined by good pace and movement. Virtually everyone had a bad game and we need to move past it quickly.

Stick a handful past Ipswich and all will be well, especially as City play Villa and someone has to drop points.
