Newcastle United vs. Ipswich Town: 26/04/25 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

Recommended Posts

Very strange season this. We have been one of the best teams in the league at times, but we've had quite a few real stinking performances as well. Hopefully the prize of UCL focuses the squad for the final games. One game per week should benefit us as well.

Nice to have a proper old 3pm KO.

Fulham is the only league 3pm at home we’ve had this calendar year so far until this weekend.

Felt like we’ve been awful kick off times at home all season. Loads of Sunday 2pms and early kick offs. Everton game should be canny with it being bank holiday weekend. I hope.

You mean to tell me you're not looking forward to the 12pm Sunday game against Chelsea :huff:

Ipswich won't feel any pressure because they are already relegated so they might just have a go at us.

I'm a bundle of nerves to be honest

I hope they do, because we’ll absolutely rinse them if they try and take the game to us at SJP.

No rests no nowt. Demolish them.

Agree with this. We can use the bench if we're 3+ up and bring on Miley, Sean, Krafth, Wilson (sigh), Targett, even Botman for a cameo if he's on there to rest legs later in the day if we're in a good enough position.

They’ll be under  St James’ park pressure! Also the lads will want to put the Villa defeat behind us. They’ll respond no doubt!

Looking forward to seeing Delap play against us. Also time to freshen up the team maybe? Gordon, Willock, maybe Botman too if he’s fit?

Be very surprised if any of them played. Maybe Gordon at a push, but seems unlikely.

Also not sure whether Delap’s starting.
