Think at the right price Wissa would be a very good signing

He's versatile, so can play up front on his own or even alongside Isak, can even play out wide if necessary

I think we could even make a few quid back if we sell him to Saudi in 2-3 years

It tells me that our scouts have failed to find any promising young strikers on the continent in the last 2 years, which doesn’t seem right. I suppose they don’t rate Kalimeundo which is disappointing.

We were linked with Kalimuendo this summer.

He's actually quite comparable to Wissa, and so I imagine he's on the list.

Prem experience is taking priority first though.

Think this one will be difficult to do. I don’t think Brentford will sell him for cheap at all, they might as well keep him as he’s massively important to them. Especially now when Mbeumo has left. I also don’t see us willing to pay up because of his age. Very good player though. IF it happens it will take a long time I reckon.

He’s also got 12 months left on his contract. You can’t knock back £30-£40 million and lose him for free.

Oh I didn’t know that. Having said that, I think him staying guarantees that they stay up with ease. Not that I think they’d be very likely to go down without, but more of a risk.

Don’t see them selling below 45-50m. (just seen Kakas post, 2 years left)

Huge change at Brentford, and maybe best for them to start anew. Them doing well probably depends on the new guy's system, not trying to recreate what Frank was doing without Frank and key players.

12 months with an option of another 12 months which Brentford would obviously exercise

How much is PL football worth to the club though? £100 mil? at least

We're in a tricky spot - need a strong backup to Isak, good enough to lead the line for most of a season if Isak's out. But we can't necessarily afford to blow 30-40 mill on a 28 (?) year old in a PSR sense.

Personally I could stomach 25ish for Wissa, otherwise a cheaper continental alternative with some goal scoring credentials in a top division. That way there's a decent chance they could adjust ok to the PL. I don't think Osula is ready.

Ah read the article wrong, thought it said no option to extend. The valuation  makes more sense now.

A £25m bid by Forest has already been rejected so we'll not get him for anywhere near that

Can he actually play wide, effectively? Left or right?

I’d be happy with it now basically coz I’m worn down to just having anyone remotely good. It’s been a fuckin disaster. Concerns about his age and quite a step down from Ekitike and even Pedro but better than nothing

It's annoying that thanks to that cup win, Spurs are basically right back in the mix with the likes of us and Villa again next year.

That's why I was quietly hoping they kept Ange and he had a shit start to the season and it messed up another year on the league for them.

Suppose wait and see on Frank if he improves them but it would be hard not to based on last year and I imagine he won't be anywhere near as gung ho as Ange.

Spurs and Chelsea came up smelling of roses after both having fairly turd seasons.
