I think he gans to Spurs like. Not saying zero chance tho. I wouldn't be against signing.

Still can't believe Spurs got CL

Has he got family of his own does anyone know? At 28? Got staying in London written all over it “if” so…

Would be a strange move for us imo, bit of desperation in it, if it is true.

He's effectively 29 in reality.

Cracking player though, if we didn't have to contend with PSR would be perfect.

Why?

Because he’s a completely different profile than what we have been targeting, and he’s 29 this year. It’s very much the opposite of what we have been trying to do.

The age is a concern but his legs are not going to stop working when he turns 30 or 31, he's hardly an injury crock. If we manage to get 4-5 years out of him and he steps up when needed it'll be great business - providing of course the fee is around £30-35M.

I think he's being disrespected quite a lot on here to be honest. He's a great player.

He’s not, everyone is saying he’s good, but he’s not the type of signing a club so restricted by PSR makes.

Wissa was absurdly good last year.

The quality of his goals alone tells you that it wasn't a fluke season.

If we were allowed to spend how Man City and Chelsea did back in their days of building to super club status he would be the ideal signing.

Yep. Don’t think many are doubting the player. It’s £50m for a 29yr old is what looks strange and desperate.

It was a break out year though in terms of goal output hopefully he could keep that up.

He wasn't playing upfront when Toney was there.

You need experience in the side too. It’s great having a load of 22,23,24 year olds but it’s not a bad thing having some older heads too. And of course the fact that he was an absolute beast last year. Would be a great signing for the right price.

Rich owners like Qatar or Abrahamovic did not give a flying fuck about spending £40m on a 29 year old. They would have spent it on a 31 year old if he fired their side into regular CL places. PIF are more than wealthy enough to put that money in....if they are allowed.

Wissa at 28, Isak at 25 and Osula at 22 is a nice mix.

I think the main thing with Wissa is that the salary won't be massive, and we will be keeping a close eye on wages, especially if we'll be looking to give Isak a new deal.

The Wissa deal cannot surpass £40 million at the absolute max though, so will depend on whether we can negotiate with them.

Think this one will be difficult to do. I don’t think Brentford will sell him for cheap at all, they might as well keep him as he’s massively important to them. Especially now when Mbeumo has left. I also don’t see us willing to pay up because of his age. Very good player though. IF it happens it will take a long time I reckon.

It tells me that our scouts have failed to find any promising young strikers on the continent in the last 2 years, which doesn’t seem right. I suppose they don’t rate Kalimeundo which is disappointing.
