Wissa was promised to be allowed to leave. Isak wasnt.

 

If Newcastle had seen this Isak stuff coming, they could have planned better. Brentford have been aware of Wissa's wish for ages by all accounts.

Get to the end of the transfer window and reintegrate Isak, looks like Thiaw at CB then a midfielder - Gallagher would be great - and then we're ready to roll with a much improved squad.

Ramsdale, Thiaw, Gallagher, Elanga & Wissa would be a very good window.
