Hopefully it’s wrong but from what I’ve heard, we won’t be seeing him in October - rumours 6 to 8 months FFS

Strange as Eddie Howe says he was hoping to have him back for Brighton after the international break.

Do us a favour mate and keep these sort of rumours to yourself. Unless it's concrete it's not the sort of stuff we need circulated.

Apologies - he’s usually bang on but will do - the clown

Can we at least wait until Wissa has kicked a ball for us. Before declaring DCL, Evan Ferguson and/or Troy Parrott would have been better options.

Considering the reaction to Woltemade while playing for Germany, I somehow doubt it.

Out longer than reported (Downie)

BREAKING: Yoane Wissa has suffered an injury set-back — with his knee problem set to keep him out for LONGER than initially thought. The initial 4-5 week injury has now been extended to 8 weeks. So the 29-year-old’s return date is now expected to be the start of November, for the matches away to West Ham or Brentford. Wissa saw a specialist this week who pushed back his return date. The striker of course has yet to kick a ball for the club in either a match or training. #NUFC

On the plus side, it should keep him out of the next round of internationals. I get the feeling Congo are a lot less cautious than we are about using players coming back from injury.
