He looked fine when he was walking off, I may have missed it but it didn't seem like he was limping.

He'd went down a couple times prior and medical staff were waiting. Was flexing/extending his leg when down. Hopefully just cramp.

Not played at all in pre-season or the first few games, has he?

Now away on international duty and played an hour first up. Then 70 odd 4 days later. I’m sure it’s just cramp and him also not being match fit.

Hopefully the international break has done us a favour for once. Gordon getting minutes, Wissa up to speed and some of those with knocks are getting a bit of a rest.

Aye you're right on preseason and minutes for these CAF WC qualifiers.

I did go back and have a little look to see what had happened and it was an awkward slip in the Senegal box. Uploaded a clip. Hope he's alreet.

Congo have fucked it. Just needed to hold on for the draw and they were in the driving seat. Now gonna have to go into the playoffs.

Playoffs are super tough too. Only the best four second placed teams qualify, then the winner of that represents Africa in another play-off against the other federations for two World Cup places.

I presume the AFCON playoff is in the November International window and the wider all conference play-off is in the March International window?

If Wissa ends up seriously injured and Isak makes it through the season unscathed, then we’re definitely living in the glitchiest timeline imaginable

Lost track of the number of times people have wished serious injury on Isak.

And so imagine the irony now.

I'm sure Liverpool fans will take great delight in rubbing it in too.
