Ginola14
would be quite a power play to get Sesko and keep Isak can see it happening if Yasir is annoyed or wants to stand up to Liverpool trying to fleck their financial muscle

Isak has nailed his colours and i cant see a way back I think Isak is being led by his agent and feels he deserves to be paid much more and could get what he wants elsewhere there's fuck all loyalty in football these days so not gonna get too annoyed with Isak he'll always be a ledge here after scoring the winner against pool on the cup final

I'm honestly at the point where I think fuck him, make him honor his contract for a year. It's too late in the day for us to get an adequate replacement and I divnt care aboot his feelings. People will say the player holds the power, but I don't get it, whinge all he wants it should suit us when he leaves.
AyeDubbleYoo
We definitely shouldn’t approve the sale until a major replacement is ready to come in. I don’t want to sell him to Liverpool at all obviously, but I assume that’s the only potential buyer now. So £150m minimum and replacement ready to come. Would he get the move he wants if he sits on the sidelines in a huff for the season?

We will though, i'm confident of that. My worry lies in how long that takes and what it does to replacements in the meantime. Are we going to sign them while he's still here? Can't see it, so we need to act quickly on a sale. The ideal scenario is we replace him now and let him sit until we get the £150m we want, knowing that we'll get the money to cover the PSR hole we'll have created at some point. Let's see. AyeDubbleYoo
Technically Isak only really participates in 60ish minutes of every game. They’re good minutes obviously. Edited July 25, 2025 by AyeDubbleYoo

JoeyBartoon
The club needs to bring in players before selling Isak. I agree there’s no way back for him right now, but I’d probably wait until the final day of the transfer window to let him go
