What a load of shit .

He scored 18 goals last year.

Are you telling me he then went on and missed his next 40 chances against all those different teams?

Seems to me someone had a vendetta against the kid.

Why not pull together a clip of his last 18 goals!

In the video he scores 12 goals out of those 40 shots so not sure where you've got all this from.

Aye I was definitely expecting to see less goals in that video.

I'd be surprised if he's even considering us. Probably has way more attractive and lucrative options.

Im not sure he does, not in the Premier League anyway.

Leipzig missed out on Europe entirely so just for his own career we’d be a great move. The Isak situation may be going south at the moment but the club can show him we took a player of similar hype who’d had an difficult season and turned them into one of the best players in the league.

Do we know if this guy even wants to come to us?

Said it before, but he may want to wait for bigger club next season.

Not a guarantee even if we hit the asking price

I think its guaranteed we bid a few million below the asking price and then spend 7 weeks negotiating only to end up paying it

So not a clip of his last 40 misses?

Correct, it's his last 40 shots, of which he scored 12.

30% conversion rate, none of them pens.

For comparison, Isak's shot conversion rate last season was 23%

Are we debating if he’s any good? He’s one of the highest rated young strikers in Europe for a reason. If he were the finished article we wouldn’t even be discussing the possibility of him coming here. I very much doubt he will but that’s only because I have no confidence in our negotiating ability.

That’s just completely inaccurate. He strikes the ball extremely well in many of those clips and very poorly in others. The main reason for the poor strikes is him snatching at it and taking shots selfishly rather than working a yard to have an opening or getting his head up to find a better option

I'm not basing it from those clips

Sounds like the ideal time for a club like us to sign him tbh, with interest from bigger clubs tempering due to slight underperformance. However, for now Isak remains a Newcastle player and still no bid has been made for him. Surely it can't be the case that we're waiting for Liverpool to sell 2-3 players to fund him. If they want him, they ought to bid, otherwise I'd begin to get the feeling Isak goes nowhere, whether he likes it or not.

With knowledge that Isak will leave either now or in a year's time, we have to look after ourselves and if we view Sesko as having the potential take us forward, we ought to act now.

Knew it would be this bad. He was fucking rubbish in the latter half of the season but nobody would have it. Penalty merchant.

Its not like he was great in the build-up play or had the legs to press like the rest of our team either.

Think selling him could end up a good thing for us.

Always look on the bright side of life.

I don't know enough about "ball" or Sesko specifically but it's definitely the sort of deal we need to do.

We've tried going head-to-head for Delap, Mbeumo, Ekitike and it hasn't paid off so it's time to go back to what has served us well in the past - trust our scouts, trust Eddie's coaching and make the move while rivals hesitate. Whether that is Sesko or someone else doesn't matter, that has to be the blueprint.
