So back to square one really. Both clubs have bid (albeit we've been more, with a larger amount up front), the player has agreed terms with both clubs (although one source suggests he'd prefer Man United).

 

Both sides played like a piano. Still no further forward with the 3-4 bodies we need this window.

We need to learn hard lessons from this window and recognise when we're being used to flush out deals for other clubs.

We've wasted so much time this summer on targets that privately never had any intent of joining us, its really hurt our plans.
