Not against Jackson.

His misses have been magnified which makes him look worse than he is, but he's a good player who's done reasonably well in a team that wasn't firing on all cylinders the 2 years he's been there.

34 G/A in 65 games is actually pretty good.

I’m sick of clubs signing Chelsea players that have no future there after they’ve paid them a big fee and on a long contract.

Signing their youth is fine when pathway is blocked them their spending (like George / Achempong are the buys to make from them), everyone else is a no-go and just validates their stupid policy by getting strong sales as it helps balance out the ones where they can’t get fees back.

Fully expect some club next summer to sign Mydruk from them for £40m+

This is Chelsea's strategy and despite being mocked it's really working for them. The long contracts are protecting the value and obviously before the loophole was closing extending the cost of the player.

Seemingly Jackson is only an option should something happen regarding Isak. Doesn't actually want to leave Chelsea currently and their valuation is pretty steep.

This is according to Liam Kennedy of Geordie Journos, so take that as you may.

He seems the type that'll go to Inter, Juve, Milan, Atletico Madrid and circle a few of those clubs for the next 7-8 years scoring between 12-18 a season, and we'll wish we'd just signed him.

He does? None of those will pay anything close to what Chelsea want.

You don't replace a world class striker with Jackson ffs.

Show some ambition. Haaland, Mbappe, Dembele. They're all available for the right money.

Haalands on a 10 year contract isn't he? He'd literally cost hundreds of billions.

Love to see us try though 😂

Misfortune of listening to Jacob’s Knacker on TalkSport this morning. Lois Openda linked along with the usual suspects (Jackson, Watkins, Wissa).

Openda has been linked before. Can’t remember the figures quoted, but it won’t be anywhere near £80m so for that reason alone, I’m in.

Don't mind Jackson, there's a good player there, if Eddie can work his magic with him and control his temper then it could be a good signing.

Not at the Quoted £80m tho, maybe £60m MAX. If he signed it probably rules us out of Wissa due to Afcon.

Longer this goes on we probably keep Isak and push for Wissa to replace Wilson.

I think the issue is he’s only just recently signed a long contract and is on massive wages. I actually do think Howe could really improve him but it does feel very desperate if we’re going to lump 80m on him.

Rather keep Isak than signing him and I've been one who really wants Isak to leave after the way he's went on. If Psg's Ramos is being offered out for £55m, surely we should be all over that

I just mean profile of player. I think £50m give or take would be a good fee because I think he'd look better in our team than theirs. Think he could be around 1 in 2 for us.

The issue is they can demand whatever they like the same way we can with Isak. If they are under no pressure to sell which they aren't then they ask for fuck you money.

It's fair enough and ord the way it should be. If we are stupid enough to pay it more fool us and we deserve whatever comes our ways.

I actually think he looks better for them then he will for us. Our high press isn't what it was it's used sparinginly and our squad is pathetic so we can't rotate.

I see a light weight play like Jackson just chasing shadows and being unable to hold the play up. He dovetailed with Palmer who we don't have or have ab approximation of.
