Most of the clubs in for Jackson were looking for loan deals, not sure what Bayern are offering but when they see big offers for Larsen and Wissa being turned down, Chelsea probably reckon they can get £60m from us for Jackson.

Presuming that they'll think Jackson will largely be a bench warmer there and any likely purchase will be dependent on performances/appearances which he's unlikely to get

Chelsea probably could get £60m from us (all included) though they probably also think they could get more if Isak is sold.

 So waiting to see if we suddenly have a lot more money so they can increase their asking price. Get fucked

I actually think this may (finally) be out PIF/Clearlake connections working in our favour. Wouldn't shock me at all if we have asked through back channels just to hang fire to the final couple days of the window, just in case.

The cunts can chuck Santos in to any deal as well.

In fact Jackson, Santos and 70 million and you can have the Swedish cunt.

Those connections mean at least we can deal with Chelsea without them trying to pull our eyes out, unlike cartel clubs like Man U or Liverpool.

If we really wanted Jackson, we'd have made an initial play by now.

We'd (rightly) prefer Larsen or Wissa, but if those deals aren't happening we might still have sounded Chelsea out behind the scenes.

I really wouldn’t mind a loan for him now. Keep our options open for next summer.

Chelsea will only loan with an obligation to buy, so doesn't give us options next Summer when payment is due.

Seems pretty clear he is going to Bayern but given the choice, not sure who I would want out of him and Wissa. We will have to pay a good 20m more for Jackson but he is also younger with higher potential.

Wonderful to have hope again, to be dashed. Lol

Every time we've been connected with someone there have been Chelsea fans on Twitter saying, "why are they going for him when they could have Jackson?" It even happened last night when the Woldemade news broke.

They've been shamelessly trying to peddle him all summer despite us not really showing any interest. It's obvious Eddie doesn't fancy him, probably due to his attitude.

Think you're right. I would've thought that he wouldo do well pressing from the front-- be ideal.

Eddie must know better.

Phwoar ... so essentially what we paid for Woltermade.

Thank God we went with the big German. Jackson for that kind of money is mad, and I like a lot of what Jackson does.

At the very most it should be around £55 million for Jackson IMO.
