He looks a much better team player than Isak. Could benefit the team as a whole.

Didn’t think we had a signing like that in us the way the summer had gone so far. Excited to see what this lad can offer.

He wasn’t.

People like to revise Isak’s history a bit.

Isak was a genuine wonderkid.  He tore up the Swedish league and Eredivisie at a young age. Better than 1 in 2 record in both leagues as a teenager.

He struggled at Dortmund.  Was ok first season in La Liga, then went 1 in 2 for the second year then didn’t get the goals in his 3rd year.  He had 3-4 really solid seasons in men’s football (for his age) by the age of 22.

He was 20/21 when he scored 16 la liga goals. He was 19/20 when he scored 13 in 16 or something in the Eredivisie. You would hope that lad would go onto become a serious goalscorer in a top league.

Feeling so much more at ease now. Guess I’m not the only one? Really couldn’t tell what we’d eventually end up with. Get the Isak situation done and dusted one way or another and then we can all focus on having a great season and enjoy the football greatly hopefully. Things are looking so much better atm.

Has the Germany squad been announced yet? Wonder if he and Thiaw are in the squad.

Woltemade is, no Thiaw.

The only two listed forwards are Woltemade and Fullkrug so he's very likely to play

Thiaw should be looking at that squad and aiming to get himself selected in time for the world cup

Not seen him of late but that Koch was dreadful for Leeds

He definitely should be up there based on talent, but he'll have to outperform Schar to have meaningful playing time this year, which I don't think he will manage this year.

Next year, I can definitely see it.

Yeh if anything I would want to see more tap ins [emoji38]

This was my thing with Son. He was such a great finisher, he was rarely there for tap ins.  When he lost his pace the goals dried up.

Nithing to do with Wor Wolte though.

Isak’s issue when he joined (and said by analysis after he did) was he wasn’t scoring tap ins first season as much which he started doing last season. All part of the maturation of a proper goalscorer.

Me at about 12 yesterday when Wolves shut down the JSL deal: Where the fuck do we go from here?! What a shambles, someone needs to lose their job over this debacle.

Me at about 5 yesterday logging on the follow the CL Draw: Well damn! He's better than anyone else we've been linked with. Someone needs to be knighted for this!
