 this table has appeared so many times at this point.

It probably wouldn't have to be if people would stop treating what random talking heads who claim they are 'experts' saying he's not a striker just because he can dribble exceptionally well as fact.

feel like being a striker for us is a fairly straightforward (not easy obviously) task because we create so many opportunities from cutbacks. As long as he is smart and quick enough to get in front of defenders he will get loads of chances.

C'mon everyone knows the words 'Woltemade', 'uber' 'Isak', 'in' and 'Toon'. In a few weeks I'm guessing even the dummest cunts out there would be able to pick up 'der'

He will be brilliant or utter crap. No middle ground.
His stats last season were brilliant, let’s hope that’s the player we have bought. He is young so should improve.

I kind of feel the same way: he'll either be outstanding or flop hard. It's a lot of money based on effectively a really good half season in the Bundesliga. Hopefully it's a sign he's improving rapidly at present and give Howe a year of drills and skills with him as we're definitely paying for potential.

Seems a really nice lad so fingers crossed.

Re: Isak being cold etc. I think he just didn't really like interviews, tends to be a bit more private.

Really grateful to have this guy on board. A massive consolation IMO, however bad the Isak saga has been (and it has certainly been bad on multiple levels).

Didn't think he was a feasible target but I would rank him higher than many of the previously attempted striker signings this summer (Delap, Jackson, Strand Larsen for certain - very likely ahead of Pedro and Sesko too).
