gbandit
Tonali Bruno Lewis Hall I’d add Wolt in the mix too because he absolutely will be but let’s keep it to the three above for now. Burn could have sneaked in if he’d been younger

Pilko
Bruno and Trippier feel pretty stuck on for 2/3 of the spots IMO. Then you're debating a bunch of others. Probably Tonali despite the "delayed" realisation of value. If you take the emotion of the Isak transfer out of it, in that he scored a boatload of goals and was sold for double what we paid, you can make an argument for that being the third. Honourable mentions to Tino and Dan Burn as well. Edited October 6, 2025 by Pilko

Lush Vlad
Bruno - he is basically the heartbeat of the team. Don’t need to say much more than that. Mr Newcastle. Trippier - felt like the first big name to start it all off. Felt like a real coup. I’m sure he played a part in raising standards, helping manage games from on and even off the pitch. Tonali - even with his off field issues, missing all that time and then taking a bit of time to find his groove. He has been instrumental since moving into the ‘6’. He is genuinely world class now and I don’t think we have many players that are in that truly elite bracket like he is. Honourable mentions to Tino and Botman. The latter missing out because of his injury problems. FUCK. How have I forgotten Burn. Yeah. This is too hard. shorty
Bruno Tonali Trippier If it weren't still a bit raw might have included Isak and suspect in 12 months time Woltemade would be in the conversation as well
54
1) Trippier 2) Bruno 3) Burn 4) Tonali 5) Wilson

KennyUtd
Trippier, Bruno and Burn. The first 1 started it and the 2nd is becoming a legend here. Burn for attitude, application and the pure joy of seeing a local boy living his dream.

Elliottman
Anyone not including Trippier must have a very short memory, he was World class in the season we finished 4th. Trippier Bruno Tonali for me
maybe_next_year
Trippier Bruno Burn In that order. We were staring relegation in the face that January, 18 months later we were qualifying for the Champions League.
Tiresias
100% Trippier Bruno and Burn in that first window. Trippier brought the mentality needed to grind out that first half season and carried it through that second. Set standard of effort Burn - Maybe for vibes as much as anything. Think everyone sees a bit of themselves running around on the pitch through him Bruno - Absolute heart of the team. Needs a statue.
