Newcastle United vs. Tottenham Hotspur: 2/12/25 @ 20:15 (Sky Sports)

Recommended Posts

We’re only two points off last season comparing matches played against the same teams.

However, we beat every single team we’re playing in the next 10 league matches.

It’s time for our patented win streak, otherwise we will need to win a lot of difficult matches late in the season.

Reading the spurs fans views on Frank, and some of the stuff in the media, is it really as bad as they are making out ? Makes it seem like fans and players have already had enough of him.

He was/is the wrong choice for them. An odd appointment he doesn't play entertaining football.

Home form has been disgusting tbf. Couple that with what happened at Arsenal and you’re asking for trouble with modern fandom.

Plus pundits, Sky and the like lumping them in with those other five clubs all the time doesn't help expectations. They've never been even remotely close to any of them in terms of success on the pitch.

I thought he is/was the perfect fit for them. Still think he'll turn it around as he's a tidy manager.

Starting tonight probably.

He's definitely a tidy manager but not someone who jumps off the page as they will bring trophies if that makes sense.

He excelled at the getting the most out of little with the only pressure being not to get relegated. With Spurs he has to extract that last 1% out of a lot and with much more pressure.

I think this should be the team, as well as Miley played we can rotate a bit on the weekend. Joelinton seems to love to play against Spurs as well. I do worry after comments on Hall that he maybe rested tonight and Burn shifted to LB with Schar coming in. I think we have to play Barnes at the moment given his goalscoring form.
