Concerned about Hall and Tino playing so regularly after injuries but they both have to play tomorrow. Maybe rest one of them against Burnley and the other against Leverkusen if they do need a rest ready to both be available for Sunderland and can then rest both for the Carabao Cup game when hopefully Trippier could be back.

Desperately need cover in January as early as possible. Once Wissa is back our depth everywhere else is refreshingly brilliant.

Yep, will rather burn left back against Burnley tbh. A fullback would be high on the list, probably a striker too?

Possibly a striker but depends how Wissa settles when he does play and if Osula goes. Would rather keep Osula as I think he is developing pretty well now, shame he is injured because he would have got some decent minutes over the last month I reckon.

They were shite at SJP in the League Cup.

Yeah, we beat them with Krafu and Burn at FB, Willock, Sandro, and Ramsey in midfield.

Opta reckons Vicario, Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Spence, Bentancur, Palhinha, Kudus, Simons, Kolo Muani, Richarlison.

7 of them started the EFL game, albeit with Palhinha at CH. They'll be stronger at keeper and CH, but I'd fancy a strong team from Eddie to do them.

"Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League goal this weekend,  do you think the roof will be raised when Yoann Wissa scores his first goal for Newcastle?"

I get that sometimes there's a balance to be had, a time to be probing, a time to be easy with it. A good relationship is better for everyone after all. But do you have to sound like such a dimwit? "It'll be good when Wissa scores won't it?" Yes, Lee. Now come on, bedtime.

Reckon Thiaw might be due a rest soon. Played a lot lately.

Want to see Ramsey given a proper go soon.

He had a rest over international breaks albeit a few minutes here and there.

I would start him in every game to be honest.

Spurs underestimated them too... 🤣

Be interesting to see what team Fulham turn out tbh.

Winning the last couple has probably taken a bit of pressure off the league position, but they’ve only got one fit central striker, so does he play? Hopefully be missing their three Nigerians too.

I bloody hope we kill them like other year, talking 4-0 at HT.

Overall, if we start fast and score early, they will collapse IMO. They've given up on Frank, but don't allow them hope though. I'd be going with same side but Tonali in for Joelinton just for a freshness to midfield 3.
