Tempted to leave my phone in the house, drive up Kielder and go for a walk in the forest. Proper cannot be chewed with this. They’re going to be fucking unbearable if they win

I want to watch it........but in a quiet country pub with about 8 people in and none of them have an interest in the match.

Just been a season where so little has been straightforward, seems so implausible that it will be comfortable. It’s so difficult on the back of CL games.  It’s only because it’s the mutants that I’m not sure I can accept a point if offered, but any other team in their current position I would have that point all day

That's an entry from my great grandads diary. 1920

This is their biggest game in years and they're going to come at us flying. Given how fragile we've been this season, it's hard not to be nervous when you look at it analytically.

Hopefully we dig out one of those surprisingly dominant and controlled performances that we're occasionally capable of.

This is often in the back of my mind with a critical match. Leave my phone at home and just go and sit in a field for 2 hours, listening to the countryside.

They’re having an unbelievable season, hard to beat. We’re awful etc etc 1 point ahead of us? 2 points behind us after Sunday.

I think we’ll win this comfortably. They’re really solid in that low block but home crowd in a derby and I think they’ll up open up more. We’ll do them on the counter. They also concede a fair few chances and I can see us out scoring them.

Elanga and Gordon for me on the wings.
