Can't believe we lost to this shit. Disappointed, will be grim if we lose at Burnley too.

I can accept losing to a good team but they weren't good tonight. Neither were Sunderland, Brentford, Brighton, West Ham......

Teams don't have to turn up and put in a performance when we visit. We are far too easy to play against. Too passive and toothless.

My problem is that I can fully believe we lost to the point of annoying predictability. This is a typical standard performance and how we've played nearly every game this season especially away from home. They're at least no worse than us so losing was the natural outcome. I think most of us will have strongly suspected that was that once they scored which is new for us and highlights the obvious problem.

How long more to keep accepting another nearly game where we supposedly played well and came away with zero points?

Unless howe changes something drastic tactically this team is not going on some winning run. Hopefully we grind some wins here and there to keep the bottom 3 away.

At this rate I'll accept a bottom half finish and reset and rebuilt on the summer.

What I find hard to accept is that Eddie  was quick to first move barnes to the other wing to accommodate Gordon and then drop him altogether after he was playing brilliant for us in Gordon’s absence. The same Gordon who has not scored other than pens in 26 games and since last January.
Toke him 65 mins to make a sub today was unforgivable , I was screaming to make it after half hour.
I couldn’t believe I heard him say Gordon played well today , if he honestly thinks that I’m seriously worried.
He has no plan b , like for like subs against a very poor Man U reserve side.
Look Eddie deserves till at least end of the season to get this turned around but this kinda form is going on since after the cup final last season.
He deserves criticism just as much as he deserved all the plaudits when he got them when we were playing well. You will always have clowns on social media going over the top

I think he's treated Barnes like shite personally, not just a one off either.

Ya I don’t get it, he seems to have a good attitude unless there’s stuff going on behind the scenes. If anything Gordon’s the one who seems to have the shite attitude.

If Hall's shot had gone in rather than hit the bar, it wouldn't be nearly so gloomy here. Fine margins.

If Sesko’s shot had gone in rather than hitting the bar it feels like it would have been significantly worse tbf.

Manu had 5/6 defenders at points during the game and we couldn't break them down, had all the ball but once we got anywhere near the 18 yard box we shit ourselves, aye we had a load of shots but only two on target.

Eddie is never gonna change up the tactics, should of had Wissa brought on alongside Wolte, not as a direct replacement.

None of our wingers are creative at all, our best winger at the moment was sitting on the bench and got 20 mins, teams know play a low block against us and we are screwed. Really need a playmaker kinda winger.

On to Burnley next, should be winning that but on our away form we will be lucky to come home with a point.

Disagree with this. Thought we did quite well actually with our build up play against 6 defenders and carved out some very promising positions. We just couldn't finish or nail the final ball. But breaking down the low block wasn't the problem.

They didn't even do that good of a job at it. We just missed passes, put some hopeless crosses in, and blasted our big chances. Another team would be even harder for us to create against than yesterday.

We need Barnes on the left for those type of games imo.. That would atleast give us some kind of weapon against that. Wissa may also help when fit. Preferrably Wissa and Wolte together, but Howe doesn't seem to like that idea.

Our usual away performance masked by what is an embarrassment of a man united team  we couldn't beat them because of course we couldn't

Winning is one thing, but not finding the net against this team is criminal.

I know some people don't like these (or one of them) but they make a few valid points about Howes tactics, formation and inability/reluctance to change things.

Frustrating. Worrying.

Maybe they should ask about it in the next press conference instead of how Eddie’s prawn cocktail starter was on Christmas Day

Feel like we do the same attacking thing on the right hand side for years and years and it's stopped working. Bruno trying to thread it through to the winger or right back through the eye of a needle by creating an overlap.

We never do it on the left hand side and the margin for error just seems to make the move so frustrating as it regularly just ends up not making anything out of it
