Any chance the snow causes issues? I seem to remember a game called off years ago due to icey conditions around the stadium.

Town is pretty clear of snow now.

Just drove from Gossy to South Tyneside. Not a chance will this be off unless it belts it down again, roads are absolutely sound.

I remember that Charlton game years back that called off, we were 5 minutes away from SJP in the car when they decided. The central motorway was radge.

the rearranged game was one of the worst games of football I’ve ever watched

I’m quite looking forward to seeing some live football as only been to the Fulham match this season. Going to freeze my nuts off though.

We definitely need an 80k stadium though...🙄

Surely this is ST holders getting rid of their tickets though? I see this a lot from season ticket holders on Twitter when there are tickets available at the last minute, but it seems like ST holders either can't be arsed or can't make it. Seems silly to use it as a stick to beat members with.

Prices, cold and downturn in form have definitely reduced demand for re-sale tickets this season. Bar the biggest games think you could get a ticket for any match this season easily on re-sale.

I feel like I say this about every game nowadays - a sign of how far we've come perhaps - but an important fixture today I feel.

This is an opportunity to pull us into the top half, potentially above Sunderland and back-to-back league home wins would potentially see us loitering around the lower European spots which would be a massive mood changer. We're capable of gathering momentum and I feel now is a good time to do so. Home crowd needs to make use of the advantage and so does the team. Win by any means today.

I haven’t really chased tickets this season, partly as I’ve been a bit skint recently. I just go for re-sale over ballot thesedays though but I guess it’s easier if you live in the city for that.

Aye. Pitch was clear yesterday when I left SJP at around midday. Looked immaculate tbf. Ground staff there do a wonderful job of the pitch.

Not using it as a stick to beat members with and I'm not sure how you got that from what I wrote.

It merely suggests that demand is not outstripping supply as much as some have suggested if as soon as a minor inconvenience appears (today the cold weather, I saw a late KO time mentioned earlier in the season) then the supply seems to be sufficient.

Barnes has to start tomorrow ahead of Gordon. Don't know what the fucks up with him but he needs to be benched for a few games until he sorts out his attitude.

Think this is a weird take, Gordon has assisted a few lately , Barnes is better off the bench, Gordon played very well in a couple also lately while Barnes hasn’t done a lot.

Gordon also is the better player overall
