TheInfiniteOdyssey
Do they really fight for the badge? I would counter-argue we’ve played like utter fannies in quite a few games this season, with no grit to be seen.

We all know what social media especially is like. Of course, and that's my point really - if it's a daughter reacting to some comments she read on Instragram, it's understandable; but in context to football and the wider picture of this season and our supporters, I don't think it's warranted or accurate. And of course her prompt wasn't quite astute enough and produced a statement which aims at the wider fan base rather than a few comments she's likely read. Probably won't do myself any favours making a post like this today but this is the sort of critique I just find wildly unfair. What was that, our 51st game this season? There's definitely some mentality issues but I think the players have given an awful lot this season. It's only a week ago that we held Barcelona and ground out a win at Stamford Bridge, which never happens. Safety caveat: we were shit today and the schedule isn't accountable for how poor a result that is.

Tsunami
The fans had every right to boo at the end, both at the players on the pitch and the management staff. We’ve seen that same performance too many times this season, we’ve seen that opening 10 minutes of a second half repeatedly. We’ve just deservedly lost to Sunderland, again, who were without their 1st choice keeper and best defender. The replacement keeper looked dodgy but we never tested him and they had fucking O9 in for Ballard and we didn’t get at him, shocking really. I’m not having fatigue as an excuse for that today, too many players simply not up for it. We went a goal up, were well on top and we stopped playing. Ashley17
Knew we were in for a second half of shit when Ramsey fucked the kick off up and belted it out for a goal kick. That said Gordon had two great chances to win it and the disallowed header was a tad unfortunate. They had a proper centre forward and we didn’t. Bobby Nend
One thing to note is that when Sunderland came up they basically changed their entire squad, where as we're still playing Burn, Trippier, Pillock, Murphy etc. A load of these players are well past their sell by date, plus it's maybe time that somebody at the club realised that we can buy players for <£40m.
