Would struggle not to give Tino a slap if I'm honest.

When people get done blindside it is annoying and sometimes feels avoidable and like players could have more awareness.  But he is looking at Brobbey the whole time FFS.  Nobody behind him to pick up, not that he checks.  Yet he doesn't even challenge him for the ball on three separate occasions.

The midfield and defensive shape and the non-challenges before that were also awful.  As was Willock's pass to start off their move

Really is [emoji38]. Watching it again, you just got to shake your head in disbelief

They move the ball forward about 60-70 yards without a single black and white shirt less than 2 yards near their 3 players involved in the move prior to the cut back. It’s fucking lifting stuff.

Not brought myself to watch the first back yet.  But the second is a war crime.

Imagine the analysis piece going back through that.  Half the team would be getting torn to shreds and rightly so.

Thing is it's been going on all season. If we have analysed it, seems either we haven't come up with an answer, or the players are just too thick/lazy to implement it.

Didn't happen in this occasion, but here's the route to never conceding a corner ever again. Defence stand about 3-4 yards out, get the keeper to hold the forward (never, ever, ever going to be pulled up as a foul), if the ball goes in, the goal will 100% be disallowed for infringement. Someone forward this to Mr Mark.

Spoke volumes that they started the match trying to waste as much time as possible, but even when they got back to 1-1 they knew how shite we were and stopped doing it as they realised they could win the game .

Day 3 and still having irrational moments of rage during the day when my mind wanders. Today it was Joe Willocks aimless pass that set them up.

Sell the fucking cunt the first day the window opens.

Ramsey blasting our KO in the 2nd half straight out for a goal kick is something I don't think I'll ever come to terms with and keeps poppping into my head. Just set the tone for the utter shit show that followed and made me question what the HT team talk was based around.

Not that it means much now, but I have to say when Gordon scored it was the loudest I think I’ve heard us celebrate a goal for a long time.

Thought Sunderland looked like rabbits caught in the headlights for the 1st 20 minutes or so. Then the game settled down (for them) and for the next 10 minutes or so you could visibly see them grow in confidence as they realised that we were actually there for the taking if they applied some pressure. Last 5 minutes of so of the 1st half were uncomfortable viewing, and as I said on the Howe thread I was desperate for the HT whistle for us to get in and regroup although given our recent record of 2nd half capitulations I did fear the worst. We all seen what happened after HT so no need to go over that again.

I watched the game arseholed in vegas so memory is a little hazy. Felt like we score the 2nd goal, we win the game. From what I recall, 2nd half was shite though.

That's pretty accurate, if only that Botman header went in

Also even though we were poor in the second half Gordon got into two really good scoring positions but then sent the ball into the atmosphere, plus Thiaw header is disallowed (rightly so but such fine margins)

Or the Elanga header or left footed shot earlier.
