My concern is it's more of the same next season, especially if Eddie isn't willing to change it up.

Aye, nothing suggests he’s going to change it up. I’d make a change from him in the summer.

20th goal conceded after the 75 minute mark in games. Worst in the league, of course.

No one conceeds late goals better than us...

Must have been watching a different channel to me. That was toilet!

The fuck were you watching? First half was pretty average but we were really good in the second half until their goal that came completely against the run of play. I won't blame Eddie for anything today, we should have won that.

Funnily enough i do know how a 10 really plays, and i still think big Nick.W is, and will be the best player for it.  However, we were a far better side once he came off.

I could say in the way you did, have you any clue when a player is playing well or not ?  But i won't because that would be petty, and as i stated big Nick.W needs game time as our 10, if we are going to play this way going forward, and i hope we do, as i would like to see him in the role.

Oh yeah, i wasn't disappointed either, i mean we played so much better once the changes were made, still give up the three points again, so really it does negate the positivity the second half provided some what.

we didn’t play much better in the second half. I explained it in the Howe thread. We were back to plan A after the sub, we pushed further upfront, we just looked better, without noticing that the defence side started to cripple again. We scored another transitional goal - great - and then concede.

The 4231 with Nick playing as CAM and Tonali Bruno double pivot were a better balanced and solid set up. I sticked to

my point. We should have continue with that 4231 instead

Some really odd team selections today. A right footed right back may block the goal. 2 more to go everyone!

Thought Willock was superb for a hour last week.No sign of him today

Gordon on bench aswell,Why not give a youngster a seat if he dont wanna know

Could the team not have kept the double pivot shape after the subs?

Think I'm completely done with that 4-3-3 with Tonali at the base. I'm completely out on it under Howe.

Sucker punch again, poor defending again but tell you what our strikers are fucking gash, Osula, Wolt, Wissa, we’ve always built teams around what we have up front, nay chance with this lot.

Best player on the park. Forest lose him and they are in huge trouble next season.

Completely checked out this season, so forgot this was on.

Sounds like we played relatively well, but showed the usual brittle mentality?

Well is a stretch tbh.

Not sure what you were watching. Thought he was average at best the majority of the game.

Goal aside he was invisible.

disagree with that like. After Bruno he had the most touches of the ball on the field.

Really? Not sure about that.

Yeah, their entire midfield were dominated and left tons of space. I noticed him receiving passes in midfield and playing it back to the defender or out wide. Obviously he scored the goal but that was the only bit of creative play he did in the entire match.

That's football mate, people see it differently, i guess it's a low bar but i thought we played very well once we made changes. Still not good enough obviously, and this squad does need a serious overhaul.

By the way 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 imo, it essentially the same thing, people will argue about how high the wingers are or how deep the CM's are, but i think both formations look the same when you see them set up. And like you i do wish we would play the double pivot ongoing, but not sure Eddie will go for it, hope he does.
