If West Ham do have anything about them they really should be winning this . If they can't beat us considering how poor we are at the minute they probably don't deserve to stay up .

We just beat Brighton 3-1 in our last home match. We’re hardly Wolves or Burnley.

As its effectively a Trippier testimonial,  I'd be up for playing him, one of his kids in goal and 9 of his girlfriends

Happy to lose this if it means sending Spurs daan.

I'm never happy to lose. But if we do after "trying our best" and Spurs do go down [emoji38], that will be good compensation.

It would have been better had Spurs' match been first, if they weren't playing a cup finalist, so if they lost it would have been in West Ham's hands going into our match.

I voted for lose, but it will be weird watching on Sunday, but one thing is for sure, if level and West Ham got a penalty in the 95th minute, I'll absolutely want them to score. A draw would be awful, we'd still be bottom half, definitely below Sunderland still after this game week and basically one of the last nails in the Hammers coffin.

I can see a draw for west ham against us and a win against Leeds.

Tottenham to lose at Chelsea and draw to Everton, sending them down.

Possibly, although I'd be very surprised if Spurs didn't win one of their last 2 matches. West Hams survival percentage in terms of odds and OPTA %, and what not, will absolutely worsen if they don't beat us as it's a very winnable match for them. A point is obviously better than a loss for them, as shown in your proposed forecast, but it will obviously be totally out of their hands (more than it is now) and they will be relying on massive favours elsewhere. They are around 1/4 to go now, and that would go to something like 1/6 if they didn't beat us.

Three additional points for us might equate to being three or four places higher in the league. Which is probably somewhere between £8m-£11m.

Seems an expensive doo just to laugh at Spurs.

Probably the best way to look at it, agreed.

Although personally I’m all for giving us the extra £10m and Ross Wilson splurging on some 14yo Brazilian wonder kid, who plays one season for us before we sell him to Madrid for £93m.

The league campaign hasn't been good enough at all. To finish 4th, 7th, 5th with at least a +20 GD in all 3 seasons, to spend considerably in the summer (even if 'mitigating circumstances') only to then have a minus GD and lose more matches than we win (which is guaranteed to happen now) is extremely poor. I don't actively want to finish low out of spite, but if we did finish 13th or 14th (or worse) then it would at least highlight that the league campaign was awful and that big changes in general are needed so that it doesn't happen again, and that lots need to be moved on, instead of somehow sneaking in to 9th with a couple of late wins and then the club being like 'ah well, it's only a place or two lower than where we might have expected to finish at the startof the season, it's maybe not as bad as it seems. Burn, Pope, Murphy, Willock, you've earned these 2 year extensions, lads!'

Howe will be setting his team out with a focus on what next seasons squad/ formation looks like so I don’t think it will be easy for West Ham.
Doesn’t look like we’ll see Gordon (or Livramento) in the shirt again. I can see Tripps getting a cameo if we’re winning comfortably.

The fact that Chelsea are poor and have a cup final only 3 days before (better than being 3 days after, but still not ideal). Very winnable match even if there is a bit if a rivalry. They've also got 8 points from their last 4 games, which is good going for a relegation threatened side, and if they can get 4 from those fixtures, they are more than capable of getting 2 or 3 from the 2 matches they have, in which case West Hsm would need all 6 points to have any chance. 4 points isn't good enough for West Ham if Spurs get only 2 from theirs.

Trips-Thiaw-Alex (Irish 20ish lad?)-Miley

                   Ramsey-Tonali

Murph                    Wolt.   Barnes

                           Osula

bench: Bruno,Burn, Park, Neave

Wolt as a striker who drops not a midfielder except in defence maybe, enough kids to give West Ham a chance while seeing if a new system/players gives some stimulus. Spurs down. Take Kulusevski, Spence, and maybe Bentancur and Archie while we’re there.
