Probably watch the 2100 games only for this WC. Down with time zones.

 Just to be clear, how would having no time zones help?

Can see a draw against Croatia and then both sides play a game of “Who can knock the most goals past Ghana and Panama?” to see who tops the group

Croatia really aren’t very good now.

All their best players, attacking-wise anyway, are miles past their best. We really should be beating them (I know, I know).

I think they’re better than people think tbh but I also think England will be your classic slow starters. Think a lot of the sides expecting to go deep will be in the early group games. There’s basically no jeopardy in our group

If anyone is a bit meh about England, remind yourself that there is a small chance that this tournament ends with Dan Burn lifting the World Cup

  Going to be hilarious when the Americans not only let him in but give him a hero's welcome for being the latest victim of cancel culture.

"Good luck against Panama Mr. Partey!"

"Well kids I'm actually not playing against Panama"

"Really? Why"

Heading to Sainsbury’s. What’s my beer choice going to be? Tempted to swallow the marketing and go Bombardier.

My local Sainsbury's recently had Zywiec in which was my beer of choice in Wetherspoons when I first started drinking 20 odd year ago, went back to get some and it'd all gone with no idea if it's coming back

Think I've got to nip out later so might have another look or opt for something other than my usual four pint cans of something or other. Let us know, you might inspire me

Sainsbury's had some quality German and Belgian bottles in recently.

Aldi is hard to beat for me though. Their own brand Pilsner is brewed in Germany and is actually class. As is their own brand Spanish larger, again brewed in Spain unlike the likes of Mahou, Estrella and Madri here

To all you Englishmen, what will the score be tonight? I need the correct result for my work-betting-thing  :D

Edit: Had 2-2 initially, but now I'm thinking 1-0 or 2-1 England  :icon_scratch:
