Aye, but ours would seat people, rather than being an oversized dolls house with lots of plastic figures inside it.

Can't be bigger than Wembley, can it? Or is that a rule i've just made up?

As a Newcastle fan who has only been to the ground and City Centre , surely building on a park would create ALOT of local anger? i also see it has a pond so wildlife

Easy enough to relocate the park / pond to the St James Park site

The current park/ pond / area is absolutely lifting (run down)

New owners could make a stunning new park / new green area and maintain it

Leazes Park is a run down shithole full of smack heads and rats. It's a place women don't feel safe walking on their own at night.

Pizza Rob has had a few things right in the past, but not for ages.

75k would be too big imo, 65k the sweet spot. The club are the ones with the data though.

Said before I don’t want a new stadium but I’ve accepted it. Just hope it’s different and has bags of character.

70,000 (perhaps 75,000) would be the perfect numbers for me, and would also solidify our intent and ambition, alongside PIF.

Still never understand the “65K is the sweet spot” rhetoric. The demand is already far surpassing that for basic tickets without even expanding the corporate areas and fulfilling the waiting list for them and that’s just the football alone.

Got to look further down the line when we crack PSR and can compete and secure some of the best signings for decades to come.

We’ve really got to be aiming to have the biggest stadium in the league or thereabouts to catch up. Building anything smaller or similar size to our competitors just keeps the status quo unless there is a rule change.

The smaller the stadium the higher the ticket price increases will continue to be.

I appreciate the idea of having people locked out to maintain a certain degree of value to the ticket price but it be foolish to have 10k plus missing out every game as and when we grow.

People have this weird hangup about some empty seats as if it matters

Much better to have extra capacity than it is too have too little leaving money i

On the table week in week out.

Building a brand new stadium just to increase capacity by a little over 10k seems an awful waste.

I'd love for us to have a stadium size where I can on a whim book tickets to get to Newcastle and know that I'll be able to get ticket for the match instead of having to plan weeks/months ahead.
