Prefer lopsided to symetry aesthetically especially if its not giving up seatage

Camp Nou, San Siro, Old Trafford, Anfield, Bernabeau, Croke Park, Parkhead, SJP all are or mostly have been lopsided

versus a bigger identikit Southampton-Derby-Mackem-Stoke-Boro bowl

Even if its just executive boxes/tier separation higher on one side and lower on the next

I must be mental...but I just don't see the attraction of Everton's ground, like most seem to.

Inside it has zero character and all that truss work looks really ugly.

Even as a neutral I dislike it for being so meh. Looks like a duller White Hart Lane

Quite a few grumbles from the home faithful about the Hill Dick.

Mostly down to their ticketing partner who are selling the tickets at an inflated price, pricing out the Everton fans and resulting in gaps in their crowd.

They’ve also just started suffering their home defeats there as well.

I also think a lot of it is down to how it’s shit to get to and away from.

Is it? When I went the location seemed great - albeit I was staying in a hotel at the docks. Isnt it a 10 minute walk to bars/restaurants?

sorry what’s this about their ticketing partner? In what world do you think Everton don’t set their own prices?

They’ve partnered with a ticketing partner, not sure how it exactly works but I’m sure they buy tickets off the club and sell them on.

Coinciding with their home form dropping off a cliff I may add.

Exactly this, seen fair few saying it's rubbish and how bad atmosphere was at Goodison for last 10 year.

It's slightly out the way, moreso at the moment given it's to be an anchor for forthcoming development, but hardly anymore so than Woodison was from the centre anyway.

It was in the middle of all the houses though. Anytime they had a big game, the TV broadcasters would make a big deal about their fans being able to walk out of their front door and straight to their seat.

Who's Peter Clennell? Sounds like a Viz character.

A lawyer in Newcastle who often openly shares what he claims is alleged confidential ITK info about NUFC on the Twatter and people put it in here.

Not sure openly sharing alleged confidential ITK info on the Twatter is a good look for someone in the legal profession, but each to their own.
