Jackie Broon Posted Friday at 15:02 Share Posted Friday at 15:02 There was no battle with the council last time, the council would have approved it. This issue was that the government were going to take the decision out of the council's hands.

Rather than a battle. And I'd like a solid gold toilet. The battle won't be with the council, it'll be the loud mouths who would rather see themselves in the paper than actually benefiting anyone
Stifler Posted Monday at 07:59 Share Posted Monday at 07:59 Just for the record. I have kept going on about how the East stand is approaching the end of it’s life in relation to the construction methods and material used to create it, and other stadiums in the country having the same issue. Well what’s happening with the Gateshead viaduct is exactly what will happen to the East stand in future. Interesting to note that they were both created at about the same time, with the same materials, and likely the same method.

It’s reached the stage where the materials used start to rot. Even Newcastle council must be rather nervous about their section of central motorway. No doubt....that'll be the next one to shut soon making car travel around Gateshead and Newcastle virtually impossible. Then again that has always been their intention given the Askew road farce...know Gateshead council are gutted they may have to re-open the bus lane to cars as they continue to make thousands a day off it due to the poor signage, and once in it there's no way out

JEToon Posted Monday at 10:50 Share Posted Monday at 10:50 ask a likely stupid question, does seat 262 exist in LWC, selected two together but it goes 261 to 263.

Seats are missing in some rows because of the curve of the stand and how to arrange the seats. I noticed it when I was in there for the West Ham game. So, yeah. They'll be together.
