Wandy
Man Utd's new stadium announcement will put extra pressure on PIF to get their arses into gear & get our stadium done. That is to be welcomed. There's no excuse for their stadium to be finished before ours.

Definitely seems like a massive stadium funded without any debt is our best way to catch up on some of the clubs around us.
AyeDubbleYoo
FWIW I’d love to see a significant amount of city regeneration around the stadium - that looks the best part of the Old Trafford plan. Albeit it might end up chain restaurants and lots of unaffordable flats.

Miggys First Goal
Announce our new stadium FFS. Needs to be 100,001 seats just to piss them off. Edited March 11 by Miggys First Goal

Man Utd have made themselves a laughing stock by announcing some pie in the sky plans to distract from the dire state of the their club If PIF base their stadium plans and timelines on the shite Man Utd are spouting, then the logical conclusion is that PIF must also be off their lips on glue Edited March 11 by bobbydazzla

Regardless though, it places some extra scrutiny on NUFC to make a stadium announcement soon.

Abacus
Given that Man U stadium announcement, I'd far prefer our lot to just say that we've done the groundwork, we've consulted widely, this is our plan and here's how we fund it. Then get on with it, whatever the choice is whether staying or going. And just not end up with some kind of bivouac plan.
Whitley mag
Don’t know what to make of that Man U stadium the external communal area looks impressive, but think it might be the roof that puts me off and those 3 masts. Also looks very grand design with it being a pre fab and being made abroad, then shipped in and put together. Edited March 11 by Whitley mag

Nah, I can't see that making any difference at all, Man Utds plan relies on finding the money, the conservative Labour government, Rat face actually getting a plan that works and the Glazers. Far to many road blocks for that to go smoothly
Danh1
Would rather we take our time to get it right than rush it through. It’s clear that progress is being made behind the scenes and as much as I would love to know officially what’s going on and whether we are staying or going, I’d rather know when there’s a solid plan in place. Don’t see the point in a box ticking “consulting the fans” exercise.

Make a decision, keep the fans informed, crack on.
