So simple pressure from Mort (as i pointed out, vastly more experienced in business deals than Magnusson) and nerve-holding in the press from Allardyce has sent a strong negotiating message to other prem clubs and got us £7m instead of £6m?

Dyer really does not need replaced imo. Its not as if he had a proper position anyway. We've got enough attacking options now, and if we were to bring in another attacking player it should be a top quality one, not one just for the sake of replacing Dyer.

Whether you like it or not, no manager complained about the last board like this. I want to believe they will back the manager as much as the last board, but just because I want to believe it doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to pretend that they are just yet.

 

What I say stands. If Shepherd and Hall had did this, they would be getting absolutely crucified by you lot, and whats more you know it.

 

BTW, the ex board had earned the benefit of the doubt in my eyes, because they had backed their managers and shown they had ambition, despite mistakes which of course nobody makes except us. If you underestimate the value of backing your managers, its your problem, people like me have tried to tell you for long enough.

Always amused when other fans list the different positions Dyer can play when he only wants to play in centre midfield and if put on the wing will end up playing everywhere else but where he is supposed to be.

 

 

Guess he may well behave himself to begin with to prove a point and will probably play really well but can't help but think that together with Bellamy, they will prove difficult for Curbishley to manage.  Also find it ironic that after moaning about the Bentley Boys last season, that Curbs has decided that Dyer is the answer to his problems.
