scruffy bast**d - shirt untucked, no tie.  You'd never see Cabaye dressed like that

Give it a couple of months when he gets his club shell suit and get burgled on his first Euro cup tie, he realise he has joined the pikey club of legend.

Tosshole club, tosshole city, bring on a tsunami to wash away the place, huge boil on the arse of the world.

Not bitter like :D

The animosity towards him is pathetic.

God forbid a player should have ambition. If I was a professional footballer with no ties to the area, the chances of me hanging around a shambolic organisation like NUFC would be nil.

With some real investment and will to succeed, we would have kept him. But we're not interested in that.

If we spent £35m on a few top class players early on in the window, would Jose currently be at Melwood?

That was always my fear with the Carroll sale...not that they'd be prepared to spend the money (they clearly aren't) but that they'd be able to spend the money. I never believed for a minute we'd be able to attract the right calibre of player to our club, particularly in the striker position, with no Europe (or the wages to compensate for that) to offer them. As has been seen with Gervinho, Gameiro, Erdinc et al, the right quality of player doesn't see us as attractive enough. God only knows how we bribed a decent operator like Cabaye to give up CL football to join this circus.
