You have to take into account the level. He is a "serial winner" and 300k a week player, who seems to be doing fine/great/ok in a second tier European competition. Good for you! He has been run around in the EPL again this season. Problem is Mainoo has to be replaced and he hasn't had a strong season. Garnacho has to be replaced, and he hasn't had a strong season. Selling them now would be idiotic. No one takes Rashford with his wages, maybe on loan. Anthony you probably cannot sell for PSR profit. For you succeed next season, Amorim has to be able to get more out of players like Mount, Garnacho, Onana, De Ligt etc. These are expensive players that you cannot really sell. Like I said, top6 next season is not realistic. Top 10 is realistic. I am willing to take a bet on this.

Wages are crazy but Casemiro is a positive influence.
-
Maybe a good preseason after rest will recharge him. If he stays and I’m sure Eddie wants him too we’ll see him at his best.
-
Yeah, I was mainly talking about the start of the season. Whether it was confidence or carrying a knock, I don't know. And at the same time the whole team was playing a bit patchily. Like you say, there have been no real hints that he's unhappy since. I was only really saying that he's not an automatic choice at LW given how Barnes has been playing, and at RW I think Murphy has been better than either, not something I thought I'd say at the start of the season. Still, I don't see them in training so what do I know.
-
I would expect us to continue paying something similar to what we have been, which is about £75k a week. Highly unlikely that he takes a pay cut to move.

Surely they have nothing to play for anyway? They're 4 points behind them. Edit: forget that obvs they're playing Wolves -
who’s taking on Rashford at those wages though? Will the club cover part of his wages to any new club?

Discreet earbud? just seen Homer above. Brilliant -
He hasn't done OK in UEL games, he has been brilliant. Give the man credit where it's due. We're in the final and he's been a huge reason for that. If we lose to Spurs and still want to revamp the squad, we'll likely sell one of Mainoo or Garnacho to do it. Any fee for Rashford is pure profit as well. A good summer of sales and we will be able to spend a lot.
-
I've not watched him enough to know, but I assumed it was either stages for engagement, otherwise its an extremely unhealthy amount of anger to hold over a game. That goes for a few of those YouTube personalities.
-
Can you not ask her to stream it so you can watch them both? After all I consider Eddie Howe to be at least as important as my nieces. It’s all about boundaries really.
-
Been a decent player. Never looked great but has never really been bad and is still playing a part. Time for him to go but I'll be a bit sad when he leaves.
-
Casemiro doesn't have the legs. He has done ok in UEL games where tempo is lower. Year left on his deal, not going to get a new one so leaving on a free after next season. He is not an answer to anything. If he leaves on a free, you pay him huge wage for a year and get no fee + you pretty much have to play him with that wage. The thing is you have been crap since Amorim started and he is your best player after Fernandes doesn't tell a thing. Except the team has been crap. You need GK, right wing back, at least 2 midfielders, and a new forward line. Carreras gives you max around 25 million. Decent money, but if you lose to Spurs somehow you are in trouble. Had to check: Casemiro has played a part in 3 Premierleague wins since Amorim came. Wins against Leicester, Ipswich and Everton.

Lindelof has had a mad long career at Man Utd despite never looking good enough

Storm in a teacup as always on here when a players’ form dips. Always looking for a scapegoat. He’s fine, just not reacting particularly well to this new notion of not being a nailed-on starter; Barnes was similar until he got an extended run in the team.
-
For all the clubs chasing CL - European places next year I hope Casemiro stays at Man U next season.
-
Well Eddie has had no issue with recognising his talents and prior to red card and injury he was first name on the team sheet for LWF. If the lad is letting the summer effect his game this far down the line he needs some psychological support. I hope he isn’t playing for the move away. He’s always been none to shy of media interviews and has always come across well, yet he would be the first to explain poor form or attitude. I don’t think he’s had much to say regarding any of that lately?
-
I do think his treatment by Southgate has a bit to answer for as well, when it was obvious that England needed a left winger and he barely got a chance. Never quite got going at the start of the season after that. Maybe he was indeed just knackered given his great season prior to that and no real break. Saying all that, I wouldn't sell him either given the choice.
-
Not true. He's been one of our best players since Amorim came in, and is probably the second name on the team sheet after Fernandes. The extra protection offered to the midfield by Ugarte has allowed him to focus on what he's good at. We're all aware his wages are mental, but 99% of fans want him to stay now until his contract ends. He's been a different player since Ten Hag left, not to mention that he's a serial winner. Rashford, Sancho, Eriksen, Lindelof, Evans and Heaton will almost certainly leave. Antony I wouldn't mind getting another crack to be honest, but don't mind if he's sold either and his performances in Spain will have boosted his value. It's well over a million in wages saved when they leave though. Alvaro Carreras looks likely to sign for Madrid as well, and we've put a huge sell-on clause in the contract when he was sold to Benfica. Should be another decent uplift there,
