Agreed - if FFP is a thing, it should be to balance the league out, not to crystallise the existing hierarchy.
-
Imagine if some random Irish betsite nailed our transfers, while Baldwards is just regurgitating Clavert-Lewin and the like.
-
It's odd, he genuinely looked a good player at Bournemouth. Don't know if it's confidence or if he peaked early in his career, but thought he might turn it around with game time.
-
Lee fucking Ryder.

They need a league wide Financial Fair Play ruling on what can be spent, and not linked to income if they want to be fair. The smaller clubs can naturally then put more money in to close the gap and spend their capital, whilst the top teams can work to bring down wages and fight back against player power.

He gained his fame writing articles defending the concentration camps during this conflict, describing them as "causing the minimum of suffering" whilst there was outrage at home due to the rate of fatalities there. (Only for the white Boer's though, fuck the black South African's). I mean given we were talking about Imperial Japan and their forced labour camps, can we at least acknowledge where they got the idea? And again, was my assertion that the British used them again in the 50’s in the Kenya incorrect?

https://breakingthelines.com/player-analysis/leonardo-balerdi-the-argentine-defender-emerging-as-marseilles-man-mountain/ Longer read on Balerdi if people want to learn more about him ahead of his move to Chelsea next week

I remember he didn’t even stand out in that god awful game against Wimbledon, that’s when I thought he was never going to kick on.
-
Was weird seeing him against Real Madrid in the Club WC. And as expected he wasn't great, screw up the marking for the goal.
-
Can definitely see us being in for Dibling, fits the profile perfectly
-
They do need Saka cover. Madueke would be super team building though.
-
What an absolute load of shit they've created here. 10years ago if you'd said Villa fans were cock a hoop about selling their women's team to themselves to avoid financial breaches and punishment despite not being in any financial difficulty in any meaningful sense, and that it would advantage them over clubs that didn't do that and had no need to people would think they were in fever dream cos on no level, even allowing for idiocy, does that sound anything but ridiculous.

Osula seems a right popular sort in the dressing room like😂 Get the lad on recruitment full time
-
Botman - July, Isak - August Tonali - July Barnes - July Tino - August Hall - August. June: Targett - loan made permanent & relatively cheap Pope - relegated & pretty cheap Minteh - cheap youngun' from the Danish league Kelly - Free We haven't made one big signing in June since the takeover. This is the month we sign someone. Maybe.
-
Obviously not referring to those bullshit tweets but Dibling is the sort of player I'd expect to see through the door if Elanga doesn't happen. Young, British, relegated club... fits the profile.
-
We are literally watching our competion bend every financial rule going while we sit in the corner like goody little two shoes making things difficult for ourselves by chasing domestic players from clubs we know are never going to sell
-
Seems a nice chap but he’s pap.
-
Calm down. I’m all for talking critically about the current state of things but this sort of hyperbole is unnecessary
-
We’re not signing anybody, man. Eddie is going to have to perform miracles again.
-
It's incredibly boring isn't it, what date do people think we'll sign our first player? I'm guessing the 12th.
