I just find it disappointing. I was excited to see them relieved from their need to shoehorn a retro element into a modern template for the comeback shirt. But still it persists, and with such clumsy execution. I do hold out hope for the aways, like I say.

Just looks lazy and out of place in my opinion. The little magpie on the back of this seasons third top is class, in comparison.

Absolute fucking shitshow mate. To sum it all up; allegedly takeover is off (nobody has a fucking clue to be brutally honest), the current directors want to cut the budget furthermore as they haven't got the funds anymore (shock), they tried to force Olley to move to Hartlepool to slash wage budget (he refused), and they allowed Victor into the dressing room to tell the players personally who he wanted to sell/release (despite no official ownership, and this was a good 4-5 games before end of season). Club is going tits up - and whilst I'm sure it's not going to be as bad as the Cala days - it does look quite bleak for the immediate future if something doesn't change. Edit; forgot to mention they're refusing to hand out new contracts to players as they're unsure if they even have the money to.

Just caught up on Amazon. Wow! Both games have to be up there with the best I've had the pleasure of watching. Just pure footballing goodness from both teams for 180+ minutes. What a match up that was, brilliant. Made even better by being able to turn off Alan 'I shout everything' Shearer from comms. Shame they dipped the crowd audio in that mode though.

As usual, it will probably look better in the promo shots and on the pitch player versions. But this will be it not and nope, not a fan. And the back is extra disappointing. Probably the break in what's been a nice run of home shirts.

I'm not sure how to put this, as he's obviously unbelievably talented and world class already, but I do still feel like he still has a bit to learn. There where numerous times today where he had the ball, and a simple pass was on, be it to an overlapping fullback who was in a better position, or to someone infield, but he'd continually try to beat two men instead, or play some defense splitting ball, despite it not really being on. He's elite so 9/10 it'd actually pay off, but I ended up getting a bit frustrated with him, as he was just trying too much. Still he's 17 and that's a very minor thing

should have had a Puskas award for the goal he scored (ipswich?) when all 11 players touched it from kick off and scored without an opposition player getting a touch. will probably never happen again. that goal belongs in an art gallery.
