Chelsea. So that’s that one dead then. Why even bother when they are basically just allowed to stock pile players and rotate their entire starting 11 every transfer window. The premier leagues allowing their acrobatics in the accountancy department is pretty galling too. That's the perfect summation of McClaren, I remember sticking up for him a fair bit, as he seemed a decent bloke, and you could see what he was trying to implement, he was just incredibly poor at doing that, and ultimately he was just out of his depth. I also think towards the end you could visibly see the stress on his face, that it made me feel a little sorry for him. Personally I don't include him at the same level as Bruce, Pardew and Carver, McClaren was a bit of a wet fart, where as the other three where full blown Nora virus, they all seemed vindictive and like they purposely chose to fight with the fans and showed them 0 respect, you didn't get that with Schteevve.

If it’s true that we only have 125m to spend, then getting Joao Pedro for 60m and a RW for 55m leaves us with nothing for Trafford and a defender. I think we can realistically only afford two out of those four if we want players who can truly improve the starting lineup.

Yeah, I remember being really encouraged after that draw against Southampton on the opening day, we looked good.
