That's the only thing that concerns me, that we've been here before with a stretched squad, huge gap in quality between first XI and the backups and it was only Howe's ability to extract the absolute maximum from the squad that saw us finish as high as 7th. To some this is "complaining" but it's only offering an opinion - that if we go big on one or two marquee signings from the PL, our squad will be too light. Maybe that won't be the case. Maybe we'll actually be able to spend enough to add the four or five players I think we need. Maybe we won't spend £60m on Pedro or £50m on Guehi or whatever. All just opinions.

Kvara was only going to one place so sometimes the fee doesn’t tell the whole story. He’s probably worth 100m+ tbh but if he’s only going to pick one team…. I thought it was that number too and yes winter.

He has the ability to bring the ball into the box via various methods, from crossing, cutting in on the inside, and also running it in. His work rate off the ball is exceptional, constantly pressing high up the pitch and tracking back when required. At the price he’s going for, I honestly think he’s a better option than going for Mbeumo or Elanga.

He’s the perfect hybrid player - someone we don’t have at the club Him and Elanga would be outstanding purchases under Howe - that group of forwards will be unreal

Exactly this. Chelsea game you mentioned was a perfect example. Plenty more as well, think about some of our poor second half performances. They don’t happen if we are more comfortable in possession imo.
