  1. Past hour
  2. Can’t wait to have this 6 foot 6 ball playing monster between the sticks.
  3. But seriously - no CL next season, I would expect Tonali and Isak (at least) to agitate for a move. I'm happy to do a slow build but that means selling our best players so they can meet their ambitions. The transfer approach that we look to be going down prioritises immediate returns - proven PL experience. A lot of Howe's management prioritises immediate returns - relies heavily on trusted senior pros up in age at the expense of higher ceiling younger players that need development opps. So it doesn't make sense to leave the squad open in this way.
  4. Howay man, not signing a Christian Norgaard type player will not result in the imminent demise of the club.
  5. Nah, I'm not saying that, I'm just pointing out it's not as easy as you think. If you've thought about it, I'm sure the people in charge have, and they've made a decision not to go down those roads. I trust them more than you, and I'm sure they're doing the right thing, even if it's annoying for us fans. I'll remind you what Wor Mandy said. PIF are patient investors.
  6. No, your not. Personal terms were never an issue here and he's been waiting to sign for us. It's just your classic Romano update.
  7. It's not great but it's the best of all the new kits. I'm not going to bother with any of them this season, will get some Adidas Originals stuff whenever we bring that out though.
  8. Let's hope SJP becomes a theatre of dreams for him and he's not despised for being hapless old Trafford.
  9. I am genuinely excited to see how having a keeper who play out from the back will help us kick on in certain games
  10. We entered the pitch as players, We left as fucking legends!
  11. Am I wrong in thinking that we'd actually agreed terms with him last summer but put the move on hold for one reason or another. We best actually fucking sign him this time.
  12. If we can shift Willock on this summer that'd be a huge positive. I'd happily take £15m and think he'd be a good signing for a promoted side
  13. I think it's likely he helps us to break down stubborn teams. If your keeper can play, the whole team can be further up the pitch. It's harder for them to play out and you can win it high more often.
  14. Very pleasing update. I'm firmly in the camp that this will be a transformational signing for our first XI, squad depth issues aside in other positions.
