Anthony Elanga: NUFC have bid of £45m rejected (Ornstein)

Unless Murphy gets hurt or slows down, Elanga would be his backup and you know that is how Howe will play him. -

If those are our targets its Elanga all day for me. -
Maybe on a highlight reel. The man doesn't have a rudder.
-
I’d be pretty down on Elanga if he was mainly one-footed but he’s two-footed and there are very few wingers that are as good as him off both feet with crossing and shooting. Don’t think people are crediting the value in that highly enough
-
I would much rather spend 60m on Kudus than 50m on Elanga. Every day of the week! (As an example). Much more talent. Think he offers a lot more as well as being the better option in front of Tino.

Aye. I rate Elanga higher for sure. -

A younger & more consistent version of Murphy would improve us big time. His numbers weren't too bad, and his main target is changing from Wood to Isak. I think he'd do great for us. -
Adeymi is bobbins.
-
He’s a worse version imo; poster boy for no brain but he run fast. In fact, I’m pretty sure he’s the player some people on here think Elanga is.
-
The shitty thing about Chelsea is that they've done all of this whilst continuing to have declining success on the pitch. The rest of us have to do well in order to even think about spending and investing in the team. Look at Villa as a case in point. Didn't make the CL and now they're in bother. Chelsea did the same and spent 200 fucking million on central midfielders from mid-table clubs
-
I’d love him - he is class. A bit short for Eddie maybe?
-
No, I wouldn’t say he’s that type of player, however, he could become a very lethal player who’s ultimately got a simple game. He needs someone to feed him the ball to run onto though, we won’t succeed building slowly with him, we’d need to break at pace and feed him the ball early. Against low blocks I don’t think he can be a big success unless we add a very creative technical 10

Sky Sports saying we're looking at alternatives for Elanga - Karim Adeyemi looks good
-
I reckon Kudos is similar as well, chuffed to see we are going for players that massively improve our squad

New PSR period starts after June and of course, no club wants to miss the age-old ritual of having their first bid promptly rejected.

How high in regards do you think he is to our star players, Bruno, Isak, Tonali etc? Is he the sort of player to get them excited playing alongside? -

I think he’d be a great signing too and particularly away from home. I might be wrong I don’t see him as the type of player who can unlock a right defence at home but they’ve clearly done their homework on him so 👍 -

Been impressed with his defensive contributions the (few) times I’ve seen him. Also seems to have the talent Howe could cook with. Think he’d turn into a Gordon equivalent on RW for us -
Closer to the PSR deadline maybe? Do Forest need to sell?
-
The lad has been on holiday and we couldn't do much until he returned? End of June = end of financial period for premier league clubs? Other things we have no idea about?
-
Significant in my opinion, younger, already better, more versatile, faster, two-footed, not completely useless in early build up play

Adeymi is not what we need at all from what I've seen. All pace and very little else. -

I think Elanga is worth £55m in todays market - 23, can strike the ball with both feet and in Eddie's team he would be a pressing monster and that's without the link to Isak being mentioned. IMHO -
Wonder why its took weeks to put in an Elanga bid that we knew would be rejected.
