Didn't someone a few years back do a redesign of the current badge to make it a little more modern friendly? Anyone got a link to that at all?

Can’t see them going with grayscale…it’ll almost certainly include color. Change the font though and that’s a winner.

Provided we don't lose to Chelsea, we could avoid that with another point at Arsenal. If we could get to 68 with a final day win against Everton, then Forest would have to beat Chelsea on the final day and Chelsea wouldn't be able to rely on a draw either, depending on how many goals they can put past Man U a week today. Of course, if Villa win all three then in the above situation a Forest v Chelsea draw will be the only result that would get us over the line, provided we can put a few past Everton.

The survey is fairly pointless, just asking to rate elements of the badge Like, I want a river or maritime reference but you do that with a river rather than two seahorses, for example. And the current castle is not an important part of the badge for me, but a bigger and more prominent castle would maybe be cool. Hard to answer with anything that will be useful.

But the new one might appear earlier on training/leisure wear and accessories etc across next season?

From my design background it’s definitely a complicated design aesthetically, especially in the current market. Every single brand goes through design changes, so it’s not something im Particularly arsed about unless they completely fuck it up. Given the people involved at the club, compared to previous years, I trust them to do it right.

Not keen on the two unnecessary grey dots on the round one if pedantry is alive and well 🙂

This. Everyone knows what our crest is. Everyone around the world, because we’ve had it for decades. It actually stands out above all of the other wanky new crests that have assaulted our eyes over the last 10-20 years. What, the current one doesn’t work with digital platforms, how? You want it to sit swimming in a sea with a bunch of other bland, mediocre badges that some 20 year old graphic design shithead came up with, sitting proudly next to MK Dons roundabout?
