I'm thinking a CM is a priority position, and will allow us to push us on significantly. We really need 4 high level CM's for next season, Europe and domestic cups is 60+ games Unsure whether I'd like someone in the similar mould to Joelinton, who still offers the defensive contribution like an Ederson/Baleba, or an attacking midfielder who gives us a new dimension, but still having the physicality we like as a team, such as Cunha But it's also hard to see us go big here with all the other gaps we need to fill (RW, RCB, GK, FB if target / trips go, ST if Wilson goes and Osula still isn't played etc)
-
I think it's only fair we win 21 in a row to make sure they sequence stays

The list of the 33 Premier League winners now form a perfect Fibonacci sequence

Feels like we are on the cusp of making that difficult to make next step; from good Premiership team competing for top four and cups. To being able to realistically compete for any competition we enter. In current climate, particularly, I wonder whether to make that step as well as a fair bit of luck in getting players who can be truly great we also have to risk selling really good players. This is a risk not just because all that glitters does not turn out to be gold, but also because it unsettles the team dynamic and can break up the relationships which makes us able to do what we have with what we have. All of that is a preamble after watching Wharton last night and imagining a midfield with him Bruno and Tonali. Wharton will only get better but already offers the rare combination of creativity/craft (picks such a beautiful pass) and energy/competitiveness. I love Joelinton but couldn’t see us stumping up for Wharton whilst we still have him. If we would even consider going back to the money grabbing Glass Hovel at all, given the debacle over Guehi. Appreciate it isn’t a priority position but he is the kind of player who is a joy to watch. Losing Andy Cole gave way to Sir Les and then Shearer (as well as Gillespie and that Barca game). Feels like some difficult decisions may need to be made whilst we can get good money for our good players. Joelinton will be 29 next season, Wharton still 21. Just a thought.

Howay man Leicester are absolutely shite. Derby or not I think we’re clutching at straws if we’re thinking it’s gonna’ be anything other than a routine/comprehensive Forest win.
-
Shame they aren’t making the final.
-
Because they are focussed on the champions league. If they get knocked out they will want to win their last league game at home. In any case that would mean our maximum points is 67 if we draw Arsenal and Chelsea which I think leaves us vulnerable. 69 points via beating Chelsea will get us top 5. 67, I’m less confident.
-
Wish this was a bit later than 12, but hopefully we'll be right up for this one. End of the day, if we want Champions League we need to be better than these especially at home. It's going to be one heck of a game.

Leicester hate Forest - it's the worst time to play them in my opinion because for Leicester, knowing that they could derail their champions league dreams is too good an opportunity to turn down. Its not as easy fixture as you all are making out. Foxes will be gunning for it to give them something to cheer about!

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

A lot of people writing the Arsenal game off. They haven't been great recently and we've already beaten them three times this season. if they make the final the last thing they'll want is a physical game. If they don't make it well their seasons over and I could see them phoning it in to some extent. -
I do think the Thiaw ones are true, don’t think the Tomori ones will be given his age.
-
Saliba comes to mind.
-
As it stands, whenever Bruno or Tonali don’t play (which will happen a lot more often next season) he’s next in line. Perhaps that changes if someone else comes in, but right now he’s getting a reasonable number of games next season.
-
These links have been around for a few years to be fair, I reckon it's true
-
Or Milan really want us to sign a Milan defender.
-
I honestly think we can get 3 points against Arsenal tbh.
-
We're in Europe next season, and the cups too, so he'll get tons of playing time here. Just like last season. Miley's definitely staying put.
-
He's had games here and been around the first team. I think long-term a season playing regular football would be better for his career than another season as 5-6th choice here.
-
What level do we think a 5-6th choice midfielder should be? Someone good enough to start for a PL team in reserve for £9m should be a no-brainer for me.
-
Miley’s significantly better than Ndidi.
-
Miley out and Ndidi in would be one of the most mental transfers ever. Ndidi will be off to Everton or West Ham. That's his level. Maybe Leeds or Burnley even.
