I really like Elanga. Probably the fastest player in the league, great weak foot, bags of work rate/running, good age and seemingly a very nice lad. The guy is everything Eddie loves in a winger/player and I have every confidence Howe could turn him into something quite special.

That's not even close to what I said. I'm not close to giving up on him either, I'm just saying if next season is as bad he's in trouble.

The Atalanta manager said that it was the wrong move for him at the time but they couldn’t turn down the money. I think the pressure at a club like Man U can be crushing. Clubs are so desperate not to miss out players aren’t being allowed their 2-3 years at a Benfica, Atalanta etc before moving to the bigger stage.

He'd be way better under Howe or Emery than those 2 clubs, that's for sure Isak, Mbuemo, Gordon, Barnes, Delap is a quality front 5 options for 3 places that could do a bit of everything With Murphy and his peach of a right foot as 6th choice and Osula on loan, depending on what Howe thinks of him

Hojlund doesn't have anything to his game to suggest he'll be a top player IMO. Like Delap is overpowered physically. Isak's touch and composure is tops. Jackson and Nunez always seem to find chances. Hojlund? Doesn't have the sniff, average physically, average mentally.

Absolutely despise how they manage to get great players on the cheap.

Does sound like you’re giving up on him too early. Tbf a couple of months ago you said he was as good as Isak and worth more because he’s younger. Being on a bad run can’t mean he’s suddenly not up to it. Patience..

Delap would be best with us or Villa imo Would easily get 2000 mins with us in a season. Rather than Chelsea who treat players like crap, and try to play possession style football (not to his strengths imo). And Man U where the expectations will be there right from the off, at a club with insane expectations and scrutiny from the world

As much as I desperate for updates im just going to go with the wait and see approach. Even if some of the links aren't fancied it's difficult to not back the club as they have been on the money since the takeover. Either way, one more win and we should have some pennies to spend.

The big drawback of signing for Chelsea is that they’re very likely to sign another (or possibly 2) players in your position over the next couple of years. For no other reason other than they can. They sign multiple players in a position. Far beyond rotational need. If a deal can be made, they make it regardless.

A GK with good feet would most certainly make a big difference I agree.

Aye, pretty much where I'm at. Though, I think the GK and RCB are probably more significant in terms of control.

We need 3 points and we can most definitely get them at Arsenal without fear. Job done and a show ground atmosphere for the last pressure free game at home to close out an incredible season. Or play for a point ( Eddie wont) and have to beat Everton and have a nerve wracking end to the season. Option 1 for me all day long. Into them.
