Was hoping we would get the nufc badge alongside the trefoil, I suppose that isn’t right for the 97 away shirt so hopefully we get some retro gear with it on instead. Can’t see why the 95/96 away wouldn’t get released this season, or maybe a long sleeved of the home.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
Kid Icarus replied to Rich's topic in Football
Maybe you just don't do rounding and goal difference is probably factored in? Hate these things overall tbh. -
When that game was played me and the lads were on a boat to Gothenburg 2004 UEFA Cup final, we booked up before the Marseille semi in hope. One lad managed to get a signal and found out they got knocked out. Us and other mags went nuts in the bar. Loads of Celtic on the ferry also

It will be funny if Coventry score a goal after a short throw in
-
Bit strange, you would think they would be looking to make as much money in the new stadium as possible.

If you round the predicted points to the nearest whole number, Villa would be on 67 and Chelsea on 66. But how you square that with Chelsea having a 53% chance of CL and Villa only 42, I can't imagine. -
That was the original plan. The owners did a feasibility study and they decided to keep it after all. Sky probably knew about it and let TNT take the final match there this Sunday
-
You’d think they normally sell the land for property like Roker, Highbury and Upton Park. They’ve properly pissed all over Sky’s big teary send off.
-
Thank God it's none of these.. I'd be bankrupt otherwise. Class

A hefty points reduction for City (or even a modest one) would make things a lot more comfortable. https://sport.optus.com.au/news/premier-league/os90077/manchester-city-charges-verdict-punishments-guilty -
I mean as their 1st choice GK
-
Yeah sorry but every top six side would have Pope
-
I'll miss Hall's performance against Saka at SJP last November.

The points predictions are averages of running thousands of simulations. So if Villa have a higher projected GD than Chelsea it just means that over the thousands of simulations, the average was higher. GD doesn't come into it at all. For the NUFC Arsenal game, they're assuming we'll get about 1 point on average (based on their projected probability of us winning, drawing or losing).

If your referring to my post you've misread what I said (if not then ignore me lol), no top 6 side will want to buy him, I'm absolutely certain on that, that's already enough to tell me that's a problem. There's very few players in our 1st eleven that would be true about besides Pope. I also think it's highly unlikely a side that finishes top 10 would look to buy him either. He's had two bad shoulder injuries, that would put many off, his kicking is arguably the worst in the league, and most managers want a keeper good with their feet to play out from the back. I'm not trying to disrespect Pope, been a great Keeper for us, will always be a legend for being part of the cup winning team, but someone will always be the weakest of the 11, for me it's very very clearly him in the current 1st team 11 which makes it essential we upgrade him.

We should do this for our woman’s team

I'm really pleased it's staying, great bit of history and my first away ground. But I see what you mean about how it affects moving on.

He's Eddie Howe.

Just read Everton are not going to demolish Goodison and instead giving it to their women's team. Not sure how to feel about that for their fans. Supposedly saying their emotional goodbyes to the ground on Sunday but hey, just in case you miss it, you can always come back and watch a game, only that it would be the women's game though. How long until another Aluko starts piping up to say the lads get a big, shiny, brand new stadium to play in while the women only get a broken, 100 year old ground? That is, if they properly maintain it too. I mean, it's good to see the ground will be preserved and still be in use but rarely you get these situations where you get a new ground and the old one still functions as one as well.

More chance of the FA getting sued for disrepute of a cartel club if they even contemplated it.

I can’t really comment on where the info comes from I’m afraid. Just happy to share what I hear. -
Not arsed really since I don't take most links that seriously.
