Mastantuono looks really raw. Eager to get the ball but so many bad decisions and some sloppy touches so far.

Personally in on the fence about PIF and it's intentions. I will have a clear idea when I see the stadium plans but as usual it's #wait
-
Quite excited about this Inter-River Plate match.

I won’t hold my breathe, mind. -
Sounds like PIF need to buy them another club or two…

That we could do yes.

We can sell anything and rent it back on the cheap and take all the revenue. Like the stadium. -
Actually makes no sense for us to sell the women's team now. We won't be able to claim such crazy valuations as we aren't in the WSL.

If we don’t get in on this sharp I don’t want to hear anything about ‘PIF are doing everything they can’. - Yesterday

Anthony Elanga: NUFC have bid of £45m rejected (Ornstein)
GallowgatePigeon replied to SUPERTOON's topic in Football
I agree with you, I just think he'll end up at West Ham as they'll be able to throw the bag at him and guarantee him 1st football. But yeah, it'd 100% be a sensible signing for us. -
Livramento is the only pace we have in the defence nowadays unless we get a quick centrehalf in. Kwp has pace so I don't see it doing our squad any harm with all the games we have this season.

KWP on a free but for above market value wages is a very West Hammish signing -
Kyle walker Peters would be a great addition to our squad if tino is out with an injury or suspension he is a nearly a like for like replacement as he's quite quick and can play both fullback positions well.

Fucking hell, RTG lore is more convoluted than the MCU at this point

nobody wants to travel,to the us,at the moment.

It's a forum in-joke tbf to that poster. It's from this classic thread from 2004:

Agreed we wouldn't be able to offer the minutes pedro would want if Isak remained fit. Backup striker at times but surely second striker/no. 10 we haven't had, replacement to that idea of throwing willock on hoping he does something in games, fluid attack where Isak does his drift all over thing and pedro goes up top. Links to versatile forwards sounds like we are wanting to have cover in more than one area while increasing the backup striker option with hopefully Wilsons departure.

Anything less and you've got to wonder if PIF still care. -

He's not being signed as a number 9 either. -
But he’s not getting in ahead of Isak, so at 60m or whatever the fee is, what’s the point?
-
Pedro isn't signing to play on the right wing, barely played there in his career

Osula cover for Isak in a CL season? -
I don’t think we sign both Elanga and JP.. it’s one player for that right side. Osula will be trusted to be Isak’s cover. If we can keep Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali fit all season we should dominate most teams in the middle, however, it may not be a bad idea to freshen things up with the other midfielders. Willock and Longstaff could do with a fresh start maybe. I think we need an all out defensive midfielder who can come on and close out games, someone with pace that won’t let teams run right at us etc, give some added protection to the back line. An upgrade at CB is long overdue. Although you can’t fault Burn or Schär, it’s just the pace bit that raises concerns. A goalkeeper who can distribute and not just limply kick the ball straight to the other team will transform us more than any other player we’ll sign imho.
