I’m absolutley certain these players just want to go on vacation and relax with their families. Not head to a bunch friendlies. At least Nations League and WC qualifying has some teeth to it for the future. I am sure the CWC boys see some remote purpose with that tourney. im fairly certain Burn missed his brother’s wedding for this England camp, no?
-
What’s our plan? Bid above the Man City £15m buy back but below the £30m asking price? £20m + £10m? £25m + £5m?
-
It would be easy to forget if not for the £50m links for Elanga
-
He’s probably got the best technique in the world out of all the players with his output and even a lot with better output. He’s absolutely fucking awful at putting his talent to use. Think his head must be the problem
-
He's absolute fucking garbage like. The high-end personification of all fart and no shite.
-
since takeover the PL players generate the noise with the media, but Bruno, Isak, Tonali, Minteh were pretty much BOOM!
-
They could buy a £20-30m defender anyway. That's the difference between now and 10 years ago. Palace don't need to sell to buy.
-
The gears are starting to turn now. The gears are fucking massive though so it's going to take a while for the wheels to get into motion. Then it's just a the small matter of getting those wheel moving through the tar pit we are stuck in and then up and out of the massive hole we fell into. Easy stuff.

Wharton & Tino have 2 caps combined. They need to get used to playing in the Senior team, playing under that pressure (and it's real pressure to perform - no matter the opponent) and getting used to being in the squad and media duties. The World Cup is only a year away.
-
All managers would prefer ready made PL players tbf. Don't think we've signed anyone from abroad since Tonali? Hardly signed anyone since we signed Tonali mind.
-
Without a doubt. Before that Tonali and Bruno had struggled to gel. It was a big talking point, and we kept getting calls to recall Longstaff/Willock who got us qualified for the CL in the previous campaign.
-
The football looked typically lacking in craft or guile with more emphasis on playing direct. Not sure hiring a German manager was the best solution if we were looking to develop our inventiveness on the ball.
-
Football began before 2000 you know. 😉
-
Eddie does like players he can chuck straight into the first team, and as he lives and dies by results you can understand it. I just think he's overcautious sometimes, certainly seemed that way last season when he kept opting for a spent Wilson over Osula.
-
£30m doesn't make or break a club like Palace, but it would buy you a very decent replacement.
-
Ask AC Milan fans what they think of Felix and you'll have all the answers you need.
-
He would be awful.
-
Kudus would be good for us on the right. His best position and gets shunted to the left for WH to accommodate Bowen. But like many transfers, the time to sign him was for £30m the same time West Ham got him. Now they would want £50-60m.
-
Let me rephrase... Decent Belgian... this century? (The only one I could think of was Sels!)
-
If you have to ask that question man...
-
Yes but you can actually see why we did it. Now can you see why Chelsea bought Felix?
