I'd be amazed if when he's available on a free there's just us and Liverpool after him.
-
Can’t imagine it’s fun to stay somewhere you want to leave for an extra two seasons mind. When there’s a move to a top club available right now.
-
He won’t be signing a new contract until the window has closed, at the very earliest. If he signs a new contract it will have a release clause much much lower than we’d want for him. Think it might be a while before he signs a new one, if he does. Don’t see us agreeing to a too low clause.
-
Would like to think we're dangling the carrot, knowing fine well he's going to sign a new deal.
-
Would be insanity to sell him. Having said that, If we are to have any chance of keeping him beyond this coming season we have to invest heavily. Get quality and numbers in and strengthen the team and squad properly. Fail to do that and he won’t be here for long. Couldn’t blame him either if so. No matter when/how late we get the players in this window, there can be no fucking about and time wasting that results in us not getting enough through the door.
-
Real Madrid are already tapping up Konate to run his contract out. So Guehi on a free to replace Konate leaving on a free.
-
Selling isak is utter madness. It sends the wrong message to current players and also any we are trying to bring in. Yes, it gives us a short term boost to PSR but will almost certainly leave us weaker at CF, the key position on the pitch. Qualifying for CL for the next 3 seasons means we can name our price for sponsorship deals etc… and probably triple 🤷🏻♂️ our commercial income in that time. Solving our PSR issues for ever 😂 To do that we need Isak.

Dude, 99% of your posts are just mentioning how fellow fans get things wrong. Are you that insecure that you have to point it out? It’s so tedious.
-
The whole angle is strange. Why say what he’s prepared to do when he’s already been prepared to leave? Bad writing.
-
Can they only give a red if he actually catches the opponent doing that? He does endanger him. He should atleast have had a yellow you would think.
-
Been saying this for weeks now. I expect an incoming transfer in the first few days of July.
-
Gyokeres doesn't feel like a safe bet at all. Also got a hunch he is a weirdo.
-
Gyokeres is older and not nearly as good as Isak.
-
I’d be delighted with both 🤷♂️

I don’t see that at all personally , both Bruno and tonali talk of their love for this club and this is something he never does. I also believe this is the longest he’s been at a club, he has no help and was absolutely knackered end of last season down to the sheer amount of minutes he put in. I seen an interview where Shearer asked him about breaking his record with Newcastle and isak gave the same non commital answer. When he has two years left and not signed a new contract I believe we’ll have to sell him.
-
If he wants and Konate joins real on a free he will be a starter.
-
Yeah, I can see a situation where he stays at Palace, gets to play in Europe with them and then fucks off to Liverpool for nowt. Parish may well want to cash in now but Guehi holds the better cards, there’s no rush for Liverpool to buy him now.
-
He wants to be a starter though and he has more chance of that at NUFC than LFC.
- Today
-
Nah, he’ll be in the PL on a huge contract with Liverpool if he doesn’t move this summer
-
I still expect him to sign a new contract, 5 year deal to 2030. If he’s still banging in goals, the move will be there in 2028 if he wants to play for one of the elite before he’s finished, as he’ll be 28 going on 29, and at his physical peak. If we’ve moved forward and are close to Prem and gone deep in UCL couple of times, it may be he wants to stay and chase down Shearer record.
-
Starting to think he’ll go to a Saudi club on a free next summer
-
Once the contract ends, the club no longer holds the player’s registration, so any clauses applied to the previous contract go with it - otherwise it would be ‘retain and transfer’ through the back door
-
Any footage of the kicking off?
